Fitness Aerobic Fitness

Aerobic Step Shape Up

Increase your fitness level, improve your posture, endurance, and strengthen your heart while burning fat. This class includes a warm-up, aerobics, and functional resistance strengthening with free weights and thera-bands, and a relaxing cool down. Bring a mat and supportive aerobic shoes. Wed, Fri and Sat classes start at 8:00 am. Instructors are Catherine Earley (Mon - 50 minute class), Kathrine McGraw (Wed - 50 minute class) and Chris Bue (Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat). ECC Studio 301 Chris Bue loves to play different genres of music in her class and is known for making new routines to her students’ favorite songs. Her outlook on aerobics is that it is a great way to feel good inside and out. Beginning Bellydance

Belly dancing is appropriate for all types of women and is a dance that is well suited to the woman’s body. It is low impact, core strengthening, and will work muscles you didn’t know you had as well as increase your flexibility. This class combines the best of both worlds for your body. A simply flowing choreographed cardio segment will be interspersed and followed by a unique series of exercises focused on the CORE (abdominal and back ). Functional balance techniques are presented. Your entire body and brain will be stimulated as you leave class and go on with your day! In addition, your alignment, posture and balance will all improve. Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program is designed to improve mobility, flexibility, balance and endurance for those living with arthritis. Sherry Gaugler-Stewart is a trained Spiritual Director who received her training at Christos Center for Spiritual Formation. Learning to meditate twelve years ago transformed her life. Sherry teaches meditation classes on a regular basis, and provides weekly meditation sessions and meditation training in the corporate setting.

This class is designed to help you recognize and respond appropriately to first aid emergencies by recognizing a sudden illness or injury, summoning help and providing care until advanced medical personnel arrive.
