PAST

EVENTS FROM AUGUST

10

AUGUST DCM what did we do? At this DCM, we worked with Color A Smile which is a nonprofit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to senior citizens, troops overseas, and anyone in need of a smile. Every month they mail thousands of new drawings to all the people on their mailing list. In our closing session, we read Love Notes which are affirmations given to people and read by our LTGs.

11

AUGUST PROJECTS images featured are from aejean ramiro and lenny jaimes

what did we do? For this months projects, we decided to focus on "Children's Education". We decided to have you all create books and bookmarks for the elementary schools in our area.

lenny jaimes " I virtually made 3 bookmarks for elementary schools to use and I had so much fun coming up with cute designs for them. I loved how I was able to be more creative and just how much effort I put into making them. I hope they love their bookmarks and use them whenever it is time for them to read."
