Three Interludes (2024)
For flute, clarinet, and electronics

In 2024 woodwind group Duo Ventus, consisting of flutist Michaela Hansen and clarinetist Louise Mogensen, commissioned a piece from me for their debut album. I composed three short movements that serve the function of connecting the other works on the album.
My piece is essentially a set of interludes and is meant to be performed only by Duo Ventus along with the other pieces on the album.
The piece features amplification and real-time processing and, besides microphones and a PA system, it requires two Keith McMillen foot controllers and a computer with Ableton 12 and the Ircamax plugin pack 1 and 2.
