Women Rule!!
Even though men had a 34-year head start on women’s professional golf circuit everyone’s talkin’ ‘bout the women these days. Brooke, Charley, Minjee, Nelly and Lydia are talked about on a first name basis just like Jack, Tiger, Ben, Sam, and Arnie were in their heyday…and it’s about time!!
I have ALWAYS known the power of women so that’s nothing new to me. You have to applaud women who have the courage to enjoy love and respect of men and women alike whether they are your idols, your ladies, or just your gal pals. As for me I’ve never wanted to be seen as anything other than “I got my ‘shite’ ” kind of girl. Not a stable, reliable, boring housewife, or your ordinary business woman but instead one who influences people and makes things happen.
My mother “Sweet Polly” taught me a real woman doesn’t need to emasculate, or attack to prove her point. For me having fun is much more empowering than being competitive and the love of snacks- good snacks- is on par with having fun. I’m forever grateful for the woman in history starting mom who gave me the courage to do well and who have influenced who I am.
Even though its Women’s Empowerment Month men do have a place at Golf Central. Joseph Harmon and Kennedy Lee are Eastern Kentucky University students who will be working alongside me on the magazine. Both are Professional Golf Management students with a focus on marketing and who have a strong interest in both writing about and playing the game.
Women rule this month and every month and if you don’t believe me… well… just ask one… <laugh>
My name is Kennedy Lee and I am a Sophomore at Eastern Kentucky University. My hometown is New Albany, IN. I am currently working towards a Marketing degree with a concentration in Professional Golf Management. I am a member of the PGM Student Association and I hold the position of Social Media Chair. I also write for the PGM’s weekly newsletter, Fore Your Information. I enjoy spending time with my friends and of course playing lots of golf!
My name is Joseph Harmon. I am twenty years old and currently enrolled as a Professional Golf Management student at Eastern Kentucky University. Alongside my pursuit of a career in golf, I am working towards a marketing degree with a minor in sales. I developed my passion for the game while living in Eureka, IL, my hometown, before heading off to college. Apart from golf I enjoy fly fishing, travel, disc golf, and photography. Additionally, I have also received my remote pilots license for small unmanned aircraft. For me, golf has always been central to my life, and recently, I’ve found myself fascinated by the business side of the industry.

Norman designed the River Course along the serene Mameyes River. Inspired by the natural terrain of the land, the holes are integrated into existing foliage creating a lush, verdant course with stunning views of El Yunque’s mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Ideal for golfers of all skillsets, this 6,945yard course features open greens,
wide fairways, light rough, and shallow bunkers. In addition to enhancements to the hotel’s golf programming, Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach & Golf Resort features nine culinary outlets with menus from local and international cuisine.

Caicu Bar & Tapas features handcrafted, rum-based cocktails, including a selection of rare private reserve batches. The sleek and sophisticated lobby bar is an ideal spot to wind down while gazing out over the beautiful beach and vibrant reefs with a cocktail and light fare, including sushi. As Tiger Woods put it best, “Jack’s Bay is destined to become the next great family destination and draw people from all over the world.” Ok Tiger, I’m in!
At Golf Life Navigators, the demand for a great lifestyle is still as popular as ever. Not just in the United States but across the Caribbean as well. In 2023, more than 85% of our users said they planned to combine the search

of club and home. However, the lifestyle amenities are just as important, and as we will soon learn, Jack’s Bay is checking all the boxes for the ultimate golf life.
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Mike Collins, CEO of IMI Worldwide Properties and representative of Jack’s Bay brand and vision. Mike was excited to share a bit about the property to our fellow golf enthusiasts.
Mike, what is Jack’s Bay and share a couple of things that distinguish it?
Jack’s Bay is a club and residential community nestled on the lush coast of Eleuthera Island and only a 10-minute drive from the Rock Sound International Airport. It is highend living that is as relaxed as it is reinvigorating. For the first time ever, the visions of TGR Design

and Nicklaus Design have come together in one community. Jack’s Bay will have two world-class golf courses on property – an existing Tiger Woods 10-hole Playground Course with all holes playing along the ocean, and the first Jack Nicklaus Heritage Championship Course under construction now and ready for play in 2025.
At Jack’s Bay Nicklaus Design unveils its first ever Heritage Course. The Nicklaus designed 18-hole championship course has five holes directly on the ocean and another five holes with ocean views. With breathtaking bluff side views, golf at Jack’s Bay has inspired comparisons to the greatest seaside courses.
No place on earth is quite like this part of Eleuthera, where pink sand beaches border 100’ elevation and rocky limestone cliffs. Unspoiled at every turn, Jack’s Bay spans 1,200 privately-owned acres.
Tell readers a bit about the real estate offerings. What can a home buyer expect to find within the community of Jack’s Bay?
Jack’s Bay features a multigenerational membership offering and is a highly amenitized master planned community that has a slant to barefoot luxury with a full range of captivating family experiences. In addition to the TW Design 10-hole golf and Nicklaus Design 18-hole championship course, Jack’s Bay best in class amenities include a barefoot luxury beach club experience with all the beach toys, paddle boards, kayaks and world-class fishing, Spa and Wellness, a Sports Pavilion, Tennis and Paddleball Courts, Sea Turtle Observatory, and even
a private island you can enjoy. Jack’s Bay Legacy membership and unlimited recreational activities in a family atmosphere has made the first phase a complete sell out and we are beginning our newest offering. With 4 miles of beachfront Jack’s Bay offers a range of luxury real estate from beachfront and ocean view cottages and homes ranging in size from 2-6BR as well as turnkey custom home construction. What is the difficulty level to get to Jack’s Bay if you reside in the metropolitan U.S.?
With the growth and migration to South Florida, the continued growth of access to the Bahamas is becoming more prevalent. Several charter flight companies provide multiple flights per week from
the South Florida market to Rock Sound which is only a 10-minute drive to Jack’s Bay - and the two other international airports in Eleuthera. Also, daily flights to Rock Sound from Nassau.
What is one thing that you want readers to know about Jack’s Bay that they might be surprised about?
The 4 miles of natural pink sand beachfront and the amazing 100 feet plus elevation views from the limestone cliffside. And also, a second interesting piece of history – Iconic Pan Am Airlines founder Juan Trippe and noted industrialist Arthur Vining Davis made this corner of Eleuthera their home away from home and it became a favored destination for the global Jet Set - Jack’s Bay was in the center of it all. With a rich history of exploration among the world’s most seasoned travelers and a playfully lush atmosphere, the natural and restorative environment of Jack’s Bay honors a tradition of barefoot luxury and remains the ideal place to relax, connect, dream and grow.
So, there you have it. Tiger looks to be spot on about the demand this destination property will see in 2024 and beyond. For

The schedule also allowed time for networking and social interactions among the athletes, coaches, and corporate representatives.
Leonard Smooth, President of the Black College Golf Coaches Association (BCGCA) and Head Coach of Miles College, said, “The inaugural Arcis HBCU Championship was an amazing experience and a first-class event for our student athletes. I, and all of our coaches, look forward to this amazing partnership as we continue to grow this championship.”
Arcis Golf—the second largest owner and operator of private, resort, and daily fee golf facilities in the United States —provides ongoing opportunities for HBCU golfers to practice and hone their skills at approximately 70 clubs across the country. This ensures HBCU studentathletes have dedicated places to practice and play beyond the tournament schedule and/or their collegiate home courses.
Arcis Golf’s Director, Inclusion and Equity Linnet Carty, said, “Through

Where did you grow up?
After moving from Connecticut when I was young, I have stayed and lived around the Tampa Bay area
What is your favorite sport to play?
I have never been very athletic or competitive but I have enjoyed heading out for a round of golf after work a few times over the years. With the right company and a cold beverage the score doesn’t matter.
What is your favorite part of being a cart girl?
What is your least favorite part? Both my favorite and least favorite part is being outside. It is amazing and fun to ride around outside in the fresh air and sunshine. Until the middle of summer hits with the Florida heat and summer showers.
What do you feel makes this club special for you?
I have worked at Feathersound Country Club for 11 years and what makes it special to me has always been the people. With a great membership and co-workers, I have been lucky to spend my work days meeting some amazing, hardworking, and fun people.
Relaxed evening at home, or nightclub and cocktails?
Both. If I am in the mood to relax, I love reading a good book but then every once in a while you have to let loose. Get out of the house, listen to some live music, and dance.
What is your idea of “the perfect date”?
The perfect date for me would be anything that involved being with my best friend and love. Preferably involving toes in the sand and the sun setting over the water.

From California, to Israel to France, there’s a Plethora of New Wines for PASSOVER 2024 for Every Palate & Pocketbook
The festival of Passover starts April 22 - 30, an eight day holiday celebrating the Israelites’ Exodus from Egyptian slavery. The most important event in Jewish history is marked by eating a festive meal with matzah, telling the Passover story (Seder) and drinking four cups of wine. And, when you have four cups to get through in one Seder dinner, wine quality is paramount.
Royal Wine Corp. is the largest manufacturer, importer and exporter of Kosher wines and spirits, with a portfolio that spans hundreds of brands and thousands of bottles of world-class wines. For Passover 2024, they are introducing top quality wines from some of the finest wine producing regions including California, France, Italy, Spain and Israel, among others.
While forty percent of annual kosher wine sales occur for the Passover holiday, sales of kosher wine and spirits have been growing significantly throughout the rest of the year.
According to Jay Buchsbaum, VP of Wine Education at Royal Wine Corp., “There’s nothing cookie-cutter about these Passover wines – they are top notch, award winning and distinctive. And, while red wine is traditional for the Passover Seder, it can be a nice Burgundy or a Pinot Noir, or a Cabernet - just as long as it is kosher for Passover. There are dozens to choose from. And, just to be clear, our portfolio consists of acclaimed wines that just happen to be kosher, recognized for our quality and value.”
These Passover-approved bottles will complement any Seder fare. “L’Chaim”

• Lovatelli, a new line of fine and affordable Italian wines, including a Salento Primitivo, SRP $17 and a Barbera d’Asti, SRP $25; Coming soon: Nebbiolo, a Super Tuscan, as well as two new vermouths.
• Cantina Giuliano, fully kosher boutique winery started in 2014 in Tuscany, Italy. The winery was started by a young couple, who inherited wineries from their grandparents. It’s now fully kosher with new bottles and labeling.
• Many new kosher wines are being imported from South Africa by ESSA and J Folk wineries (among them are : Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and more).

Is Kosher for Passover Wine Hard to Find?
Actually, it’s rather easy! Most kosher wine is also kosher for Passover, making it easier to sell this wine (and for consumers to stock up on bottles) year-round. Any kosher-for-Passover wine will have a “P” symbol or “Kosher for Passover” next to the kosher certification on the label.
But that’s not the case with some spirits. For example, you’ll be unlikely to find kosherfor-Passover whiskey, as whiskey is made with grain.
Fine kosher wines are made the same way that fine non-kosher
wines are made,” adds Buchsbaum. “There is no kosher winemaking ‘technique.’ What’s required for the wine to be considered kosher, is that the wine be handled only by Sabbath-observant Jews. And there are plenty of fine winemakers and cellar workers who are Sabbath observant. Great grapes and skilled winemakers yield great wines—kosher or not. Consumers looking for wines from renowned regions throughout the world can satisfy their thirst with more options than ever before. It seems the problem is not the availability of great wine but the overwhelming number of great wines to choose from. Royal Wine offers a delicious selection of kosher for Passover wines from around the world,” says Buchsbaum. “Some of the top producers are creating award-
winning varietals at every price point, and with Passover just around the corner, we want to take the guesswork out of buying wine.”
Why Four Cups of Wine
One of the rituals served at Passover is the custom of drinking four cups of wine. The four cups of wine are consumed in a specific order as the story of Exodus is told. Served to the adults throughout the dinner, these four wines represent points from the exodus story. While there are several explanations for the significance of the number four, the connection to “freedom from exile” is often referenced. For observant Jews, the wine served should be kosher. Although a kosher wine uses the same grapes as other wines, the wine making is handled by “sabbath-observant Jews”.

All Roads Along the Georgia Golf Trail Lead to The Masters
By Mike May
While the eyes and ears of the golfing world are focused on Georgia and the Masters in early April, it’s worth noting that some of the major interstate highways that you utilize to travel around Georgia are filled with great golf courses along the Georgia Golf Trail which are worth playing while you are traveling to the Masters or while you are headed home. If you’re driving along I-95, I-20, I-75, I-85, or I-16 in Georgia, consider bringing your golf clubs for an 18-hole pit stop or two along the Georgia Golf Trail, where you will be spoiled for choice when it comes to places to play golf.
“The Georgia Golf Trail, which has many locations as you travel to the Masters, offers a wide variety of golf experiences that range from seaside destinations to courses built among the mountains,” says Georgia Golf Trail Founder Doug Hollandsworth.
As you enter Georgia from Florida along I-95, your first stop should be at the Jekyll Island
Golf Club on Jekyll Island.
“Jekyll Island may well be the best place in Georgia to unwind and relax while enjoying golf, fresh seafood, long walks along the beach, poolside siestas, and time off the grid,” adds Hollandsworth.
Just north of Jekyll Island is the Sapelo Hammock Golf Club in Shellman Bluff. Surrounded by tidal marshes, saw palmettos, and live oak trees, this golf course’s greens are a reflection of this club’s commitment to excellence.
After leaving Shellman Bluff, keep heading north along I-95 to Savannah.
Savannah’s only golf course along the Georgia Golf Trail is The Club at Savannah Harbor, which hosted the Legends of Golf event on the Champions Tour from 2003-2013.
As you travel into Georgia from Alabama along I-85, a must-play stop is Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain. Callaway has two golf courses: Lake View and Mountain View. Lake View opened in 1952. It’s as beautiful
to visit as it is fun to play. The Mountain View golf course hosted the Buick Challenge on the PGA Tour from 1991 to 2002.
As your drive toward Atlanta on I-20, you can play golf at The Creek at Hard Labor Park in Social Circle and at one of the many golf courses at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro. The golf experience at The Creek can best be described as refreshing, exhilarating, and energizing. Many patrons at the Masters enjoy staying at the RitzCarlton at Reynolds Lake Oconee, making the 90-minute drive to Augusta, and playing any of the six championship golf courses at the resort. BTW: Two of the courses at Reynolds are ranked in America’s Top 100 courses by GOLF Magazine.
As you travel south into Georgia along I-85, there are four dynamic destinations worth playing: Highland Walk Golf Course at Victoria Bryant State Park in Royston, Arrowhead Pointe Golf Course at the Richard B. Russell State Park near Elberton, Chateau

Elan Golf Club in Braselton, and the Stone Mountain Golf Club at the Stone Mountain State Park located outside Atlanta.
At Highland Walk, every golfer will deal with many steep rolling hills, crowned fairways, and sloping Bermuda greens. Arrowhead Pointe is a very popular and scenic destination along the Georgia Golf Trail. The water views are stunning -- with 10 of the 18 holes skirting Lake Richard B. Russell. Chateau Elan is as well-known for its world-class wine production as its 36 holes of golf: Chateau and Woodlands courses. And, the Stone Mountain Golf Club has two outstanding 18-hole venues: Stonemont and Lakemont.
“Both Chateau Elan and Stone Mountain have a long-standing tradition for being the home of 36 holes of the best golf in Georgia,” adds Hollandsworth.
As you travel into Georgia from Florida along I-75, enjoy the Georgia Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Cordele. Located on the premises
of the Lake Blackshear Resort & State Park, it’s a par-72 layout with 130 sand traps, four sets of tees, and at least one grey fox!
Finally, not far from I-16 are two more state park golf courses: Wallace Adams Golf Course at the Little Ocmulgee State Park in McRae and the Brazell’s Creek Golf Course at the Jack Hill State Park in Reidsville.
Wallace Adams reminds its visitors of what the Augusta National Golf Club looks like. The course is dominated by loblolly
pines which divide many of the fairways from one another.
At Brazell’s Creek, the front nine is tree-lined and the greens have creative contours, The back nine was built on a windswept open landscape which has a links-style look to it.

The two-day 36-hole team competition of the Aramco Series presented by PIF came to an exciting conclusion on Saturday with France’s Pauline Roussin-Bouchard leading her team to victory with a score of 28 under.
The event format is unique in that the team event is played inside the 54-hole individual championship. In the team event, each amateur contributes to the team score. Depending on their handicap, the amateur gets strokes. Each person plays their own ball, and the best two scores are added per hole.
“I am extremely proud,” reflected Roussin-Bouchard. “It’s been a blast, honestly. There was an amazing atmosphere. Everyone was cheering on one another, and it was just a very good balance in the team.”

drained a knee-knocking putt on the 18th to clinch the victory for Team Roussin-Bouchard, with fellow professionals Celine Herbin and Meghan MacLaren rounding out the championship foursome.
This is the second consecutive team win by Khalil, known as “LJ,” who represents Saudi Arabia. Her first team win took place in October at the 2023 Aramco Series in Riyadh alongside Captain Carlota Ciganda from Spain, who plays on the LET and LPGA Tours and has 10 professional wins.
“It was all about those last two holes; they were very stressful. It’s a team effort and LJ [LuJain] did well, said Roussin-Bouchard. “She got very, very stressed out on that last putt, she worried she was going to lose it, but we’re proud of her, she
was a real credit to the team.”
Khalil, 18 years old, started playing golf just five years ago. A previous self-proclaimed “non-athlete of any type,” she was a teenager solely focused on school, her grades, and her biggest dream of getting into an Ivy League college.
Then came COVID and another dream emerged.
Like many, Khalil became bored living in the COVID bubble and was desperate to get outdoors. Her dad, a former tennis player, took her to a nearby resort hotel to play tennis but the courts were closed. The driving range was open, however, and the pro suggested they go hit some balls.
“That’s an old people’s game,” she scoffed at her father, laughing out loud as she remembers her reaction.

special events
The pro was very impressed upon seeing her swing. He asked Khalil how long she had been playing. “This is the first time I’ve ever come near a club,” she said.
“This is talent; This is natural. I am going to take a video and send it to the (Saudi) Federation,” he said. “This is incredible.”
Khalil has been practicing and playing golf every day since.
With golf just beginning as a new sport in Saudi Arabia, finding a way to keep up her skills was difficult. Khalil was hooked on the game and very serious about becoming a better player. There were no high schools, colleges or academies offering golf, let alone qualified instructors to be found. After two years of continuous practice on her own, Khalil’s father decided to quit his job to become a certified coach - to support, instruct, and help his daughter improve her game.
“I was fortunate to pick up the sport during this time,” she reflected. “It was the start of the Aramco Series, the start of LIV Golf, the Ladies First Club initiative to learn the game, and the Federation’s
focus and initiatives that shifted to women’s golf and women’s sports.”
Through her participation in the Aramco Series, the 7-handicap has had the opportunity to participate in clinics with LPGA major champion Min Jee Lee, and play rounds with LET players Alice Brewson, Becky Brewerton, Emily Pederson, and Carlotta Cigunda.
“The Series has helped me evolve a lot. It has changed my golf; my perception of golf, watching these professionals and getting to play with them,” said Khalil. “I want to be an elite golfer one day. I see myself progressing at a very good rate.”
With her dad along as her devoted caddy, Khalil has been spending summers in the United States playing back-to-back competitive
amateur tournaments to improve her game. She has become good friends with former PGA Tour member and LIV golfer Harold Varner and is receiving some support through his foundation. She has played in the World Team Amateur Championships twice.
Her main goal today is to become the first Saudi female to win the gold medal in the Olympics for golf and for the inspiration such an historic win would provide.
“This is something that I thrive on, seeing little girls come up saying, ‘you did it - we can do it; we’re going to follow in your footsteps,’ said Khalil. “It’s priceless because I’m not even a pro yet. I can’t imagine how I can make an impact once I’m a pro.”
Born on Tiger Wood’s birthday, Khalil is hoping to create that same magic and take women’s golf to a another level.
“I’m looking forward to creating a legacy,” she concluded.
Given her talent, tenacity, commitment and engaging personality, “LJ” is well on her way.
Winning team members, including Khalil (second from left) proudly hold their Aramco Team Series trophy.

Forsterling Dominates Final Day To Win Individual Title At Aramco Event-Tampa
by Holly Geoghegan
While much attention has been focused recently on LIV Golf and the disruption occurring in men’s professional golf, there is a bright and refreshing spotlight shining on the global stage in women’s professional golf. The Aramco Team Series presented by PIF, featuring
some of the women’s best players from the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Ladies Professional Golf Tour (LPGA), concluded Sunday March 10th at Feather Sound Country Club in Tampa, Florida.
A thrilling final day score of fiveunder-par, helped LET player, Alexandra Forsterling from Germany, seal her third victory, while fending off Rolex World Ranking No.8, Charley Hull and Solheim Cup superstar Carlota Ciganda. Europe’s top-
ranked player, Charley Hull, went into the final round with the lead, but the relentless Forsterling delivered three birdies on the front nine and three on the back, pushing Hull to finish three shots back at nineunder-par.
“It’s an amazing feeling. I was definitely nervous, you always are in the final round,” said the overjoyed Forsterling. “I just tried to learn from the last times when I won and just play my game, try to adjust to the wind, and have fun.”
The victory for the Berlin native, who played for Arizona State University and now has three professional wins, puts her in position to represent Team Europe later this year at the 2024 Solheim Cup, September 10-15, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. She moves into the second

qualifying spot based on points.
“It would be a great honor to play in the Solheim Cup and represent Europe. It would be amazing and mean a lot to me,” said Forsterling.
American superstars competing in the 28-team field included World No. 12, Megan Kang, 11-time winner and major champion, Lexi Thompson, and 8-time champion Brittany Lincicome.
Both Thompson and Lincicome are Floridians.
Among the highlights during the week-long event was a spectacular private draw party staged at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Teams being announced and displayed on the stadium’s towering LED jumbotrons. The Aramco Energy Zone provided fans on site an exciting mix of activities combining tech and sport into immersive activities. New golfers got a chance to learn the fundamentals of the swing in several clinics that were offered.
Women’s International Day, Friday March 10th, was at the heart of
the event with free tickets offered for women and girls, encouraging new fans to attend and discover the sport as well as free clinics to learn the game. LPGA legend and World Golf Hall of Fame inductee Jan Stephenson, with 41 wins worldwide, participated in a panel discussion called “Change With Conversation” which addressed a variety of topics involving the positive changes, rapid growth, and future investment in women’s sports.
The Aramco Team Series presented by PIF, is sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET) and played in cooperation with the LPGA. The unique 54-hole format combines three professionals and one amateur in the first two days of competition, with the pros competing for the individual title on Sunday. This is the only event in professional golf where an amateur contributes to the result in the team competition. The one-million-dollar purse and associated prize money is awarded
to the winning team and individual champion.
Launched in 2020, the five event 2024 Aramco Team Series will be played across three continents beyond the Tampa event including stops in Seoul, London, Asia/TBD, with the final event in Riyadh. The Series offers Rolex Rankings and Solheim Cup ranking points and is part of the Race to Costa del Sol Official Rankings. (www.aramcoteamseries.com)
The Aramco Series is intended to promote golf as a game for everyone regardless of gender or background. With its mission to #SEETheImpact, Aramco, a global integrated energy and chemicals company, is committed to changing the narrative in the male dominated sport by creating more pathways for women and girls both on and off the course.
As the title sponsor, with a $5 million dollar investment in the series, Aramco is walking the talk, becoming one of the biggest backers in women’s golf today.

Scottie Scheffler Blisters Bay Hill Again!
By George McNeilly
Piping hot putting helped Scottie Scheffler win his 7th career PGA TOUR title and second Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by Mastercard in three years.
The World No. 1, who captured this event and three others in 2022 including The Masters, returned with a new, mallet style putter and fired a final-round 6-under par 66 to finish with a five shot victory of reigning U.S. Open Champion Wyndham Clark. Scheffler played his final 25 holes without a bogey to leave with a winner’s share of $4 million from a $20 Million prize purse at Arnie’s place.
“I think it has a lot to do with keeping the mind as quiet as possible,” said Scheffler. “Part of the problem is just trying too hard. It’s frustrating to not have the best out of myself, just because I know that I can putt really well. It’s not like I’ve been a bad putter my whole career. I’ve just gone through a stretch where it’s been tough.
“I think this week I did a really good job of not letting the misses get to me. (Caddie) Teddy (Scott) did a really good job of keeping me in a good head space. We stayed positive out there, and I hit a lot of good putts this week.” His 15-under par performance was the largest margin of victory here in a dozen years as he posted one of the few bogey-free final rounds.
Scheffler was the only player in the top 5 to go lower than 70 on payday as Clark shot twounder for a four day total of -10 and solo second place.

Shane Lowry who led or co-led in each of the first three rounds shot even par 72 as did Will Zalatoris and Russell Henley. Lowry ended the week alone in third place at 9 under par while Henley and Zalatoris tied for 4th place at minus 7.
The victory was his first in nearly a year since capturing the 2023 Players Championship.
“It’s really special,” said Scheffler. “Mr. Palmer meant a lot to me, meant a lot to us as professional golfers and the game of golf, and so it’s very special to be able to sit here and wear his red sweater again. I’m very proud to be the champion of his tournament.”
Scheffler solidified his place atop the Official World Golf Rankings as World No. 2 Rory McILroy finished 4 over par 76 for a tie for 21st place, 14 shots behind the winner.

Bella Buys Back Balls
If you follow junior golf, then you are certain to have come across the name Bella Dovhey. The sixteenyear old Orlando native has quite the impressive golf resume. In 2023 alone, she finished in the top-3 in each Florida Junior Tour event that she competed in, which included the 64th Girls’ Junior Championship. Dovhey made Team Florida for the third consecutive year for demonstrating not only an exceptional talent for the sport, but also for displaying and upholding the utmost standard of sportsmanship and etiquette. In addition, she captured a win at the 54-Hole Rio Pinar Junior Open and the Sunshine State Amateur. Not to mention, she also captured a win and a top-5 finish at her first two events played on the NXXT Women’s Professional Golf Tour.
Should we even start to list her accolades in 2022? To name a few, she captured six top-10 finishes in Florida Junior Tour events, advanced to the Round of 32 at the 93rd Women’s Amateur Championship, tack on another top-10 at the Women’s Dixie Amateur, and she competed

in the Florida Women’s Open.
It is unmistakably evident that Dovhey has a talent for the game of golf, yet she does have another unique hobby that hides in the shadows of her golf accomplishments. A hobby turned business venture that has aided in her travel expenses for the sport that she loves so dearly; Dovhey finds and refurbishes golf balls to sell to the public and then uses the money she makes to pay for her golf expenses.
But let’s rewind to learn exactly how Dovhey embarked on this journey. Dovhey started in golf at four-years old when her father would bring her to the course where they lived every day. It began as purely a fun adventure, she only had a few clubs that she would play with. However, over time she became more serious about the sport and she fell in love with the game. She explains,
“I had a putter and a few other clubs and I loved just playing around with my dad. I began to get
a little more serious and my dad would have me work on my fast twitch muscles, so I would always try to hit the ball as far as I could.”
Dovhey loved spending time on the course, even at night when she was not playing. She and her dad would set out almost every night to find golf balls, and they quickly found too many balls that they knew what to do with. Subsequently, the father and daughter decided to clean up the good ones and sell them. Dovhey, who lived on a par-3 with an island green, built a golf ball stand in her backyard. She states,
“We can’t keep up with the good balls, people buy them so quickly. Especially living on a par-3 with an island green, people will lose their balls in the water and then stop by my yard to buy more.”
Three years later, and Dovhey is using the money she has made selling used balls to pay for all of her international flights for tournaments around the world. Yes, you read that right. In 2023,
Dovhey competed in the R & A Girls Amateur Championship in England, the German Girls Open, and the Italian International Ladies Amateur Championship. Dovhey explains how special her time in Europe is,
“This summer we went to Italy and brought my grandma who is 87 years old. She got to see all of her sisters and our family over there and it was such a cool experience.”
Dovhey certainly is creative when it comes to making money, and she has found a way to make it fun as well. She has big dreams of playing golf in college and then turning professional, but first she still has a bright junior and amateur career ahead of her. Look for her name on the FSGA leaderboard in 2024 as she says that she is most looking forward to playing in the 95th Women’s Amateur at the Bears Club. And if you are ever in need of a golf ball in Orlando, maybe you will come across Dovhey’s golf ball stand located in her backyard.

TEEGAR-ALL
Meet the TEEGAR-ALL, a versatile invention by Jeff Spektor that truly does it all. The “whole-in-one” handheld tool was designed to accommodate any size cigar, securely hold tees, repair divots, and even prop up clubs. Jeff, an engineer who immigrated to the United States in 1989, earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bryansk State Technical University. While currently working for Hamilton Caster, Jeff initially secured a drafting position at Ronan Engineering upon his relocation to the United States. It was during his time at Ronan Engineering that Jeff was introduced to the game of golf. Intrigued by the sport, he purchased a set of clubs from his boss, and from that moment on, he was hooked.
The TEEGAR-ALL was designed out of necessity when Jeff transitioned from cigarettes to cigars on the golf course. Quickly he faced the challenge of keeping his cigar secure and accessible in both the golf cart and on the fairway. Jeff was prompted by a conversation with a close friend who suggested, “You’re an engineer, design something!” Soon after Jeff’s solution to the common annoyances golfers face throughout a round was born.
To utilize the TEEGAR-ALL simply insert it into the tee hole in your cart, secure your cigar in the clip, and you’re set to tackle the first tee. Once in the fairway, the TEEGARALL effectively addresses the primary concern of cigar aficionados: where to safely keep your cigar during your swing. By securely placing your cigar in the clip and teeing it into the ground, you can prevent any size cigar from getting wet or dirty. From tee to green, the TEEGAR-ALL serves multiple purposes—you can effortlessly repair divots and conveniently hold multiple clubs, ensuring that all your grips stay dry, even on damp or dewy greens. Jeff Spektor has not only revolutionized the on-course smoking experience but has also provided golfers with a versatile tool that enhances their enjoyment and performance throughout every round. You can keep up with the TEEGARALL on instagram “teegar_all_2018” or on Jeff’s website https://www.teegar-all.com/

Sports Role Models
We are proud to feature a new book series entitled Sports Role Models: Book 1, Book 2 and Book
3. Each book features 34 athletes who positively exemplify character, leadership and sportsmanship. Cumulatively these books contain 102 chapters of athletes who are worthy of being called role models. Author, Dr. Joe Hoedel, tells the stories behind the stories. Many
of these athletes are our heroes – like Michael Jordan, Billie Jean King, Walter Payton or Arnold Palmer. The book also includes many human-interest stories that most people don’t know – like Brandon Burlsworth, Pete Frates, Kathrine Switzer or Suzy Whaley.
Dr. Joe Hoedel wants readers to look beyond the trophies and medals, and learn more about the real people behind the public personas. “I want to change the reason why we look up to athletes — it’s their character both on and off the field,” Hoedel said during a recent interview.
We feature this new book series because Hoedel includes six chapters on golfers. True to the nature of the books, three of these role models are male and three are female. Some are historical figures and some are contemporary. Some are true legends while others changed the game of golf.
Here are the six golfers who are featured in these books and a little taste of those chapters:
Babe Didrikson Zaharia – The associated press named Babe as the Woman Athlete of the 20th Century. She won a national championship in basketball and won three Olympic medals

in track and field. However, she is most known for co-founding the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and for winning 82 golf tournaments. Even after being diagnosed with colon cancer, she won the U.S. Women’s Open Championship.
Bobby Jones – When asked who belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of Golf, 90% of current players placed Bobby Jones on that short list. Bobby remained an amateur his whole career, choosing to earn his money as a lawyer. He is the only person credited with winning all 4 majors in the same year. He famously called a penalty on himself in the 1925 US Open that caused him to lose by one stroke. In retirement, he purchased a little piece of property in Georgia and with the help of Alister MacKenzie, built a course called Augusta National. A few years later, he started a tournament there, called The Masters Tournament.
Nelly Korda – Nelly qualified for
the Women’s US Open as a 14-yearold. She turned pro as a 17-year-old, right out of high school. In 2021, she won a gold medal in women’s golf for Team USA. She enjoyed the #1 ranking in the world for 26 consecutive weeks. She has won one major championship and is looking to win many more.
Arnold Palmer – Speaking of the Mt. Rushmore of Golf, there is an army of fans who would
gladly chisel his portrait in stone. Arnold won 62 PGA tournaments, including seven majors. However, he is most known for his character on and off the course. He treated everyone with kindness and became the greatest ambassador of golf who ever lived. We all mis Arnie.
Lee Trevino – He grew up as poor as they come. He learned the game of golf as a caddie in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 17, he joined the marines. On his second enlistment, he was assigned to play golf for the 3rd Division Marine Golf Team. He is known for his sense of humor, for hustling players on the course and for his shotmaking ability. As an amateur, he beat Jack Nicklaus on his way to winning the 1968 US Open. Lee turned pro and won 29 PGA Tour Events, including six majors.
Suzy Whaley – Ever wonder why so many minorities and women have been on the golf course in the past 5 years, look no further than the leadership Suzy Whaley, past president of the PGA of America. Golf has long been viewed as an elitist sport for wealthy white men. Suzy’s prioritized breaking down perceived barriers and welcoming everyone to the game of golf.

If The 2024 PGA Show Is Any Indication,
By Mike Jamison
the golf industry is in for a successful year. A high level of positive energy was apparent throughout the Orange County Convention Center January 24-26, including the ING Hospitality Room.
The International Network of Golf (ING) celebrated its 30th year of recognizing outstanding achievement by its members through the ING Media Awards and ING Industry Honors. Both awards programs were presented at the PGA Show to full capacity rooms.
For the ING Media Awards, Gary Van Sickle and Ann Liguori each won First-Place honors in two categories. Van Sickle, who writes for SI.com and other outlets, won First-Place in the Opinion/ Editorial category with “The PGA Tour Is Losing Its Identity.” He also was tops in the Profile category with “Caddyshack Cameo” which appeared in NewEngland.Golf. Van Sickle also was an Outstanding Achiever winner in six categories.
Liguori’s winning entry in the Radio Segment category was her interview with Bernhard Langer on her Talking Golf With Ann Liguori show in New York. She also won the Podcast category with her interview with Gary McCord.
The Met Golfer was selected the winner in the Publications Category with its August/ September issue. Top Radio Show,
for the second straight year, went to Chuck Garbedian’s Garbedian on Golf, PGA Championship Edition, WRNW, Milwaukee.
Steve Kashul’s The Golf Scene won in the TV Show Category.
In the ING Industry Honors, Women’s Golf Day Founder Elisa Gaudet and Tour Edge’s 723 Drivers were among the winners.
Gaudet has overseen tremendous growth in Women’s Golf Day since its debut eight years ago. The event moved from one day to a weeklong affair last year, and saw participation in 1,300 locations worldwide.
The Tour Edge Exotics 723 features two separate driver designs designated as Extreme (E) and Competition (C) spec. The E723 drivers are MOI+ designs built for maximum forgiveness, while the C723 designs are all about harnessing power and
dialing in low spinning distance.
For only the second time in the 30-year history of the ING Industry Honors, there was a tie in a category. Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor 2 Pro and the Blue Tees Golf Player+ GPS Speaker shared top honors in the Product Ingenuity-Technology & Training category. Also, Zero Friction’s STRIDE, an autonomous electric golf bag, won the Product Ingenuity-MISC. category. Other winners were Mountain View CC for Print Ads and French Lick Resort in the TV Commercial category.
A few companies and products caught our eye during the PGA Show.
AMERICAN FIT - ING’s official apparel company American Fit is a wholly owned subsidiary of Valgroup International with offices in Santa Fe, Argentina and throughout South America. It fashion designs in New York and produces higher-end apparel from its production facilities in Lima, Peru.
American Fit may be a new name in the Golf Apparel industry, but it is certainly not new to designing men’s and women’s golf apparel as it has long been associated with some of the most major of golf apparel brands as their private label manufacturer.

PGA HOPE In The North Florida PGA Continues Momentum From 2023
The PGA HOPE program in the North Florida PGA has gotten off to a fantastic start in 2024! This comes on the heels of a strong 2023 that showed program growth and more excitement about the program from all involved.
PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum, led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations, so the cost of programming is free to all Veterans.
Thus far, the NFPGA has had sessions at Jax Beach Golf Club, Duran Golf Club, MacDill Air Force Base, and World Golf Village. PGA HOPE Instructors provided Veterans a variety of tips on all aspects of their golf game. The time spent with a Veteran is a chance to help them improve, give back to those who have served, and shows that golf is more than just a game. Veterans also can connect with other Veterans and build rapport with those in the session. These are just some of the positive aspects that can happen through PGA HOPE.
The numbers speak for themselves in terms of how many
Veterans this program reaches. Since the beginning of 2024, PGA HOPE Instructors have served 85 Veterans! This is a great start and gets us closer to the goal of serving 715 Veterans this year. We are excited to see how PGA HOPE grows as we continue moving through 2024. To learn more about PGA HOPE in the North Florida PGA, visit nfpga.com/pga-hope/.

Rising Above Adversity: The Inspiring Journey of JoAnna Ehert, Lead of Championship Administration for the PGA of America
Standing on the tee as a starter for the first time as a Tennessee PGA Section Intern, JoAnna Ehert, PGA, faced a challenging situation.
The event’s title sponsors are due on the tee, but they are late. The 23-year-old Ehert, familiar with the rules, welcomes the group and informs them they will be assessed a two-stroke penalty for their tardiness. Unbothered, the group proceeded to tee off and virtually ignored Ehert.
Worried she may have misstepped, Ehert informed her boss of the situation, only to be reassured that she did the right thing. Later at scoring, the group told Ehert’s boss that she was wrong and didn’t know what she was talking about.
Ehert’s boss responded, “she is absolutely right; she did the right thing, and you have a two-stroke penalty.”
At that moment, Ehert, now Lead of Championship Administration for the PGA of America, gained the confidence she needed and the reassurance that she belonged.
“I know what I’m doing, I can do this,” Ehert recalled telling herself. “No matter what anybody else thinks, I can do it.”
earning her first full-time position with the South Florida PGA.
industry at Trump International Golf Club - West Palm Beach. This move allowed her a unique opportunity to continue building her network while running all member outings and events.
During this time in 2014, Ehret entered the PGA Associate Program, figuring the best way to serve the members was to be one herself.
A Minnesota native and a talented junior golfer, Ehret competed on her high school golf team as a middle schooler, assuming the captain’s position by the time she was a freshman. Her talents took her to Western Kentucky University on a full academic and athletic scholarship. Her eyes were set on pursuing professional golf until a back injury during her junior year halted her playing career.
Still incredibly passionate about the game, Ehret knew she had to do something in the industry. Her first opportunity came as an intern with the Tennessee PGA, then the Tennessee Golf Association, before eventually
“I had a background in tournament administration but was open to learning everything about the golf industry and all the different paths I could take,” she explained.
While at the Section office, Ehret had her hands in nearly every aspect of operations. From tournament operations, growth of the game, and communications, it allowed her to find what she truly enjoyed most.
“I fell in love with tournament operations and the connections you make with the members, and I loved it,” Ehret said.
With her passion in mind, Ehret had the opportunity to move to the green grass side of the
“I want to know what they do on a daily basis, what kind of knowledge they need so that I could better help them do what they need to do,” she said.
While her time at Trump was beneficial and a great learning experience, Ehret quickly realized that amateur events were not necessarily her passion. Ehret noticed a position available at the PGA of America headquarters, and as she read the job description, she thought, “this is literally my dream job.”
Ehret was offered the position and started at the PGA of America Headquarters in 2016 as the Member Championships Coordinator before moving to Senior Member Championship Coordinator and eventually Lead of Championship Administration,

the position she currently holds.
The feeling Ehret had when she first read the job description is still true after seven years.
“I have loved every minute of it,” Ehret said, smiling. “It’s exhausting and a lot of work, but when you’re working with an amazing team for a shared goal like that, and then to see it all come to fruition in a major championship is pretty awesome.”
Exhausting may be an understatement in this case.
Ehret runs 14 Championships from November through February, including all PGA Tournament and Winter Series events at PGA Golf Club and all PGA Professional Championships.
That is not all; Ehret plays a critical role in all Major Championships run by the PGA of America, including the Ryder Cup. In 2021, Ehret experienced a full circle moment at the 43rd Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits, as she was responsible for marking the entire golf course and played an integral role in all course setup and preparation.
For some, that may not register as much, but when you are
responsible for properly preparing a golf course for the sport’s most recognized and viewed event, the pressure is at an all-time high.
“It was exhausting and terrifying but something I will never forget,” Ehret said.
As Ehret continues to excel and grow in her career, challenges often arise as a female in a historically prominent male industry and especially as someone
running events for males.
When asked what has allowed her to shine through adversity, Ehret’s most significant advice is to prove yourself through your actions.
“You just have to have thick skin, and you can’t let it bother you,” she explained. “You just have to prove and show through your actions, product, and productivity that you are fully capable. You have to go out there and show it to them.”

BOYNE Golf Staff Honored in Landmark Maintenance Apprenticeship Program
Michigan Department of LEO recognizes Michael Flatt, Russell Smascz and MGCA with CHAMPION Award
Michael Flatt and Russell Smascz, members of the BOYNE Golf maintenance staff, have been honored with Recognition of Completion certificates by the Michigan Golf Course Association (MGCA) for their participation last year in a landmark golf course maintenance Registered Apprenticeship program held at The Highlands at Harbor Springs Resort.
In the last year, the MGCA, in coordination with the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Opportunity and the U.S. Department of Labor, created and implemented the new Golf Course Maintenance Technician
Registered Apprenticeship
program. Through the Registered Apprenticeship Program, interested candidates can further their agronomy education, work alongside field experts to gain on-the-job learning, and gain a national occupation credential.
Josh Richter, the senior vicepresident of golf operations for Boyne Golf, which includes The Highlands, accepted the certificates of completion for Flatt and Smascz during the recent MGCA Awards Banquet that
was part of the 2023 Michigan Golf Business Conference and Vendor Fair at FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek. Richter called the apprenticeship program impactful in helping golf course operations seek and train people interested in a golf course maintenance career.
“Boyne is proud to be involved with a program that, in such a positive way, helps address the labor shortage in the golf industry,” he said.
Scott Jedele, State Administrative Manager, Apprenticeship Expansion at the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, attended the Awards Banquet and honored the MGCA with the

“Race to Talent™ with Registered Apprenticeship” CHAMPION Award. This award is given by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity to recognize organizations who grow critically needed talent across the state using the Registered Apprenticeship Program training model.
The training model is proven to accelerate right-skills development while ensuring the highest level of safety and return on investment. Use of the model benefits employers, jobseekers, communities and the state. MGCA’s development, promotion and implementation of the Golf Course Maintenance Technician Registered Apprenticeship program is helping members grow the specific talent they need, while providing a way for apprentices working in the program to be recognized for the
specialized skills they gain during the training. Those efforts boost both the careers of the apprentices and their employer’s success.
“To implement this in the last year and have apprentices complete the program is impressive on a national scale,” Jedele said. “MGCA is being recognized as a ‘Champion of Champions’ for their leadership in using the training model to develop highly skilled workers in Michigan.”
Jada Paisley, executive director of the MGCA, said this initiative cultivates the specific talents essential for our members while providing a recognized pathway for apprentices to best utilize their specialized skills.
“As the MGCA continues to be the ‘voice of Michigan golf business,’ we extend our gratitude to our members like Jim Szilagyi,
MGCA 2023 Vice-President and 2024 President and owner of Lynx Golf Club in Otsego, and industry partners including the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation, Michigan Golf Course Superintendents Association and Golf Course Superintendents Association of America,” she said. “Together, we propel careers, enhance skills, and contribute to the enduring success of the Michigan golfing community.
“Workforce issues are significant in the golf industry and part of a solution is helping people see the variety of opportunities that exist within the Michigan golf industry. We have 800 courses in Michigan and with opportunities like this there are opportunities to present to young people the range of possible careers in the agronomic, restaurant, lodging, hospitality, and tourism parts of our industry.”

A Turf Pirate's Journal $Flying The Stone$
Greetings and Salutations Turf Pirates!
It is not quite Spring and the GCSAA Conference and Trade show is behind us. Pheonix was excellent and it was good to catch up with other Turf Pirates from across the world. Shout out to BIGGA member Harry Cannon Head Greenkeeper of the New Course at Sunningdale Golf Club in Berkshire for trading a few stories with me at the BIGGA booth. It was from the many conversations that I had with legends and future legends of turf that this month’s spin came about. It seems that almost everyone was talking about where they were in their career and where they were going. Young, old, somewhere in the middle it seemed that the common ground in these uncertain times was that everyone was
there to get an edge, catch a skill that could make a difference. It reminded me of playing golf in Ireland. If you are a loyal reader of this column then you know I often write about golf in Ireland, England and Scottland and the many ways it surprises you. One of the unique things about playing older courses near the home of golf, especially links style courses, is that it is quite common to play blind shots. Usually, the line of play is marked with a bright white stone. These stones really stand out against the emerald, green turf and often your caddy (or host superintendent/turf pirate) will simply say, “fly the stone”. Once you fly the stone a few times you trust the system and it makes blind shots, well not so blind. If fact, it makes a pretty good memory that has some deeper meanings
if you have an open mind.
In our careers we often face blind shots. Do you stay at the course and job you are at now, or do you take a new job with more responsibilities (perhaps less responsibilities) or jump to multicourse management? Do you go back to school for more education? How many things pop into your mind when you contemplate your next career/life move? The safety of holding on to the job you have now hoping it gives you a fortyyear run sometimes turns out to not so safe. Some say finding a mix of revenue streams can change the narrative and keep you ahead of career and life calamities. It would certainly be handy if someone(s) would place a bright shiny stone to give us a bit of guidance and reassurance. Life is pretty tough at times, and we need all the help we can get. Turf Pirates are keenly aware that there are no sure things, but we also know that experience and intuition can increase the odds of success in any endeavor. Just like the green keeper who picks the stone, paints it, and places it for the benefit of all who come after we should make our way through the turf/life leaving a mark (get the stone metaphor) to help all those who come after us. If you are facing some tough times with uncertainty looming call a mentor or trusted peer. Gather good information and practice flying the stone. Dare to play the shot that makes you the best possible you! If you have gleaned some useful strategic information on your journey share your insights with others, pay it forward. We are after all a brotherhood, the Ancient and Honorable Tribe of Turf Pirates. This month’s photo is a throwback to over a decade ago playing golf in Ireland featuring a blind shot with a bright white stone and my good friend and accomplished Turf Pirate, Jon Kiger.

Improving the water, reducing the chemicals –how to improve golf’s environmental footprint

Golf courses use a lot of water and chemicals. What can be done to change that and thus, change the perspective of our communities?
Water Use and Water Quality
Water is the largest input applied to a golf course and so it has a significant impact on the course. When superintendents are

asked how their turf quality looks after a good soaking rain - most reply it’s the best they’ve seen in a long time. Why? Rain has dissolved oxygen (DO). The dissolved oxygen in the water impacts almost all the biological activities in the soil.
US golf courses use approximately 2.1 billion gallons of irrigation water per day. Most comes from ponds or wells. With most of the irrigation water coming from potentially low dissolved oxygen sources, it’s important to understand what low DO levels are and how they impact soil health.
DO must be above 5 ppm for soil and turf. Most courses are using water that is much lower, requiring more frequent aerification, large quantities of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. When high DO water is used turf roots grow longer and less water is needed, offering tremendous opportunities to reduce consumption.
How Low Water Dissolved Oxygen Levels Impact Chemical Use
Fertilizers
Water quality controls soil biology and thus, fertilizer retention. When soil microbes don’t consume fertilizer, it goes to the water table, stormwater pond, wetlands, or adjacent stream. This nutrient runoff causes algae blooms and deteriorating surface water quality, sometimes negatively impacting a golf course’s own irrigation pond or runoff to a neighbor.
Pesticides
Two options for turf disease control are to apply fungicides to kill pathogens or promote healthier soil so that the healthier microbes can outcompete the pathogens.
Increasing the dissolved oxygen in the irrigation water increases beneficial microbes. Focusing on this approach vs. applying fungicides can stop the cycle of “treating the symptom instead of the cause”. How do we do it?
In order to increase water DO in golf course irrigation sources, new ultrafine or nano bubble technology is being used to incorporate high levels of oxygen and ozone gas into very tiny bubbles that raise water DO more than two times (2X) rainwater DO and kill water pathogens. Nanobubbles are routinely being applied to pond algae control, hydroponics, agriculture and aquaculture. In 2023
five golf courses implemented fullsize nanobubble systems to improve irrigation water quality and already seeing the advantages of better water quality on their courses.
