Watch Out For The Letters is a fun game designed to consolidate the learning of letters, enrich language and stimulate creativity. Children aged 6 years and up will have to be the fastest at recognising letters and pronouncing a word that begins with a specific letter before their opponents do. The games offered are divided into:
• Watch out for the syllable. Identify the identical letters on the card and pronounce a word that begins with a syllable, made up of this letter, and another on the card.

Each mini-book features easy exercises to do and images to color to develop logical-mathematical prerequisites and counting skills. In fact, children learn numbers up to 20 and basic operations quickly and easily.
Starting from an A4 photocopy, children independently build mini-books using their creativity and fine motor skills: folding, cutting precisely, mentally rotating and predicting the result, and experimenting. Not only that, the minibooks enrich the shelves of their pocket mini-library represented on the final page of the book. At the beginning of each section of the book there are theoretical indications on the processes involved and a laboratory part closely connected to the contents of the minibooks.

4 Analisi del comportamento problema
4. An in-depth analysis of the problem behaviour
Quando il bisogno di muoversi diventa impellente, quasi «impetuoso», il bambino si alza e inizia il suo «moto perpetuo». bambini ADHD fanno fatica a controllarsi e a controllare l’impulso di alzarsi e muoversi. Ricordate che non si tratta di una provocazione, né di maleducazione, né di disobbedienza, ma solo di un bisogno fisico È un bisogno che questi bambini sentono in modo atipico rispetto agli altri e non riescono a inibirlo. Essere iperattivi significa fare molte cose, spesso troppe, contemporaneamente, ed essere appunto in «iper» attività. «Pretendere» che il bambino si autocontrolli durante le lezioni non ha molto senso, perché l’autocontrollo non è una capacità che ha innata: sarà dunque necessario allenarlo con pazienza e costanza ai ritmi del lavoro in classe. Questi bambini non stanno mai fermi. Non hanno «intuito sociale», ovvero non comprendono intuitivamente le regole sociali. Il fatto che tutti stiano seduti non è motivo sufficiente per stare seduti come gli altri: per loro sono strani proprio quelli con non si alzano di continuo!
Stare seduti li annoia perché per loro è una cosa priva di senso:
«Posso ascoltare anche in piedi, posso scrivere anche in piedi con un ginocchio sulla sedia, posso stare ‘stravaccato’ sul banco... che «problema c’è?».
Di solito questo comportamento problema si presenta nel primo anno di scuola primaria e persiste, in forma meno accentuata, fino alla classe terza. In alunni con ADHD severo può invece persistere anche negli anni seguenti. Prima di tutto definiamo il comportamento problema. Dire
semplicemente «Non sta seduto» forse è troppo generico, perché in classe potrete incontrare queste situazioni: si alza spesso si alza e chiede il permesso di uscire gironzola in classe esce dalla classe senza permesso.
Come intervenire
Date al bambino le seguenti
Regole
Posso alzarmi dal banco, ma se mi alzo devo fare silenzio e non disturbare
Posso uscire dall’aula solo con il permesso
Posso uscire 1 volta all’ora La prima uscita la posso fare dopo la prima mezz’ora di scuola
Posso stare fuori solo 5 minuti
NB: La pausa bagno può essere concessa 1 volta all’ora a meno che il bambino non sia indisposto.
Attenzione queste regole dovrebbero valere per tutti gli insegnanti, altrimenti perdete di credibilità agli occhi del bambino.

Organizzate la lezione mantenendo l’alternanza «lavoro-pausa-lavoro-pausa-lavoro-pausa»: fate durare ogni unità di attività circa 30-60 minuti (pause comprese).

The Autonomy Cards are a series of cards designed to train and increase autonomy in different areas of life of people with intellectual disabilities or autism. The book collects 40 short social stories written with the symbols of Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) which clearly and simply describe situations, routines, behaviours, skills and emotions identified as among the most frequent in children aged 3-4 years and up (the age at which you begin to develop autonomy and the ability to choose and manage emotions).
The stories briefly explain what is happening, why it happens and what attitudes to adopt in that specific situation
The stories are divided into 3 main areas:
• Personal care and hygiene (I brush my teeth, take a shower, learn to get dressed, etc.)
• Behavior (at the table, in line, apologizing, etc.)
• Emotions (crying, anger, frustration, etc.)
SOCIAL STORIES
Three new illustrated books with ACC!
A new series of illustrated books written in ACC (Augmentative Alternative Communication) symbols which is aimed at those with complex communication needs, but also at those taking their first steps in reading. In fact, AAC supports the linguistic and communicative understanding of children through the use of graphic symbols. Colourful, educational and fun, these illustrated books simply describe everyday adventures, both big and small, through a social story dedicated to a particular autonomy:
• the first volume tells the story of Giulia's ability to brush her teeth;
• the second volume tells the story of Luca and saying goodbye to his parents;
• the third volume helps little ones embark on a journey through Youssef's story.

Reading between the lines about school anxiety
The book tells of school anxiety through the voice and stories of Claudio, Chiara and Marco, three children of different ages but with something in common: they demonstrate resistance, or total refusal, to attend school. Every time Claudio is called to the blackboard, he has a panic attack. Chiara, on the other hand, would like to disappear completely, and Marco angrily refuses to go to school because he is afraid that something negative could happen to his parents.
Each story is accompanied by a scientific point of view which, with simple language, helps explain school anxiety more closely and offers advice to prevent and – if necessary – intervene effectively. School anxiety can severely compromise family relationships, relationships with classmates and academic performance.
