SINGLE CLASSES
What is an AP Course? Advanced Placement (AP) courses are rigorous, college-level classes that require a significantly higher time commitment and skill level. Students will receive a grade in the course, as well as preparation for the standardized AP tests. However, testing and the associated fees are not included in the course. AP tests are graded on a scale from 1-5, with a 3 and above being a common marker for qualifying for college credit. However, some universities do not accept AP scores for college credit. College credit is NOT guaranteed for the AP courses.
How It Works • Advanced students can choose AP courses as an optional elective • As these are college level courses, students can take an
AP course in a subject that they have taken a regular high school course in before. • Course format includes: digital curriculum with email support, grading, and feedback on assignments from teachers.
*Note: AP tests are not included with the course
