Grade: A A 24-floor high-rise building designed for McKinsey & Company. The main issues are how to design an efficient floor to be rented, parking capacity, and building aesthe cs. The building was designed with the concept according to the nature of McKinsey’s work, which is the interrela on between so -skills and hard-skills. The lobby was designed to be very spacious to accommodate the high intensity of users. The main lobby also hosts a coffee bar with lounge sofa to facilitate brief socializing and res ng. FUTURISTIC PARANGTRITIS BEACH RESORT IN YOGYAKARTA Academic | Final Project | 2017 Studio Lecturer: Prof. Ir. Tarcicius Yoyok Wahyu Subroto, M.Eng., Ph.D. Grade: A
An exclusive, high-end, futuris c resort located on top of a hill, looking over the famous Parangtri s Beach of Yogyakarta. The objec ve was to incorporate cultural value in a futuris c way to ensure its sustainability. The design proposes an extreme nature-admira on experience by making a curved-bridging architecture that hosts resort units. Designed based on the concept of Prominence, The design puts dierent cultural representa ons as the highlight of the design’s main spots. In rela on to
technology, the technology is a media to accentuate and represent cultural visualiza on. Walking through the lobby, visitors are welcomed by automa c video of Gamelan on LED walls. TAMAN BUDAYA-BENTENG VREDEBURGTAMAN PINTAR PUBLIC SPACE Academic | Post Architecture Excursion Project | 2017 A team project of 11 members. Contributed as project leader, in conceptualizing, designing, 3D transforma on, and presenta on at Wiswakharman Expo 2017
Culture as a part of Yogyakarta iden ty is felt strongly in the cultural complex of Taman Budaya, Benteng Vredeburg, and Taman Pintar. This complex with the element of History, Culture, and Educa on is not integrated as a whole, therefore our team proposed a way to integrate the complex by designing an extensive public space that dissolves any boundary in the complex and genera ng more ac vi es to create a vibrant development. Taman Budaya Yogyakarta is redesigned into a
cultural center that a racts people, and able to accommodate various cultural events. Making the ďŹ rst oor a public space, the facade of the building has gradual transparency from the top to the bo om. The proposed Taman Pintar is a compact building mass unifying func ons that were previously separated into several building masses. It encourages a more eďŹƒcient system, and creates an open space to accommodate outdoor ac vi es.

In the future full of technological and industrial advancements, it was projected that many people in Jakarta, the most developed metropolis in Indonesia, will be more secular and exposed to greater stress of daily rou ne. In such period, people need to be encouraged to find haven and refuge from daily hardships at a mosque.
skin is made of mechanized ver cal louvres which allows ligh ng and air to enter the building. The louvres also create drama c shadow effects in the building. The mosque harvests rainwater to be used for ablu on and landscape. The roof surface uses curved photovoltaic panels to convert energy from sun rays to electrical energy.
The design proposed a futuris c, self-sufficient mosque that incorporates greeneries, water bodies, and natural light into the design. The whole building
The first floor of the mosque is an open space that can be used for disabled members, educa onal and social func ons.

Cahaya Husada Hospital aspired to be one of the most prominent C-grade hospitals in Gresik, East Java. In addi on to a standardized hospital building speciďŹ ca ons, a good visual representa on is also crucial in crea ng credible image and a rac ng pa ents to the new hospital.

MARGANINGSIH CATHOLIC CHURCH IN KALASAN, SLEMAN Professional Work | PT Global Rancang Selaras | 2018 Principal Architects: Wahju Wulandari, Adi Utomo H. Architects: Amrih Setyobudi, Edwin Salim Renders: GRS 3D Department Design Proposal
A new, bigger church building is needed to serve the growing number of church members. The old Marganingsih church is deemed outdated and insuďŹƒcient to handle a big number of members who come to the weekly masses, and varia ons of nonliturgical ac vi es. Therefore, a modern, energyeďŹƒcient church is proposed to be the new religious icon and the center of Pan Rini Hospital and the school in the complex. The new design is a modern-minimalist church with
large praying hall to ensure spa al comfort for 1400+ people and to create a sense of Godly presence because of the monumental propor on. The high ceiling of the praying hall and numerous openings on the walls allow good cross-ven la on and natural ligh ng, hence reducing the usage of ar ďŹ cial ligh ng and air-condi oning. Universal design principles were implemented in the design, which ensures all members, including the disabled, pregnant, and elderly members to access all parts of the church and par cipate op mally.
