I am a 3rd year student Landscape Architect with an eye for design and exceptional digital skills. From the projects set within my university course and grades showing that I am achieving the mark, I want to expand my skillset and put them into practice within a professional environment.

I am inspired by sustainable design and living, improving spaces to create places. Creating a positive impact upon society and regenerating an area to help benefit physical and mental well-being for people through the landscape.

A career in Landscape Architecture is a goal I strive towards, an opportunity to leave a significant stamp upon our landscape, something which will benefit the world not only socially but environmentally and emotionally as well.

Throughout my life I’ve had a huge interest in sport and activity, training and competing in swimming, running and triathlon events. This led me to competing nationally and internationally for Team GB at European and World championship level achieving gold, silver, and bronze medals. Coming into university, I wanted to continue my interest in sport alongside my studies. I did this by becoming the club captain of athletics, swimming, and the water polo teams. This work got me noticed by the university who invited me to sit upon the university board of sport, helping oversee the organisation of all sporting events and clubs at the university alongside key overseeing staff. The engagement with the sports board allowed myself and a fellow peer to set up and co-found a brand-new initiative called ‘Swim 4 All’. It created a safe and positive environment for students to learn to swim, train or relax and socialise in an inclusive, safe and judgement free space.
