There are currently 1.2 million children of active duty members. 2 million military children have experienced a parent’s deployment since 9-11-01 . First Friday Goes Southern Friday, April 3 | 3:30-6 pm
All Eglin personnel and families are invited to First Friday at Legends Sports Grill. Fill up on a delicious "all-you-can-eat" menu of Southern "comfort food" including Slow-Cooked Sliced Pork with Rice and Pork Gravy, Gigante White Beans, Southern-Style Collard Greens, Fresh Cornbread, and Blackberry Cobbler for dessert. The buffet is FREE for Eglin Club members and their immediate family. Admission is $5 for all others, ages 3 and up. Prize giveaways will be drawn for Eglin Club members. Get Golf Ready!
Saturday, April 4 | 9 am-2:30 pm
The Eglin Golf Course presents "Get Golf Ready!" for ages 14 through adult. Whether you're a complete beginner, or just haven't played in some time, you'll get right into the swing of things after this 5-hour consolidated course. Cost is $70 per person and includes lunch. AF Youth Summer Camps Apply By Monday, April 6
Air Force Services youth summer camps offer amazing opportunities for dependents of Air Force personnel (AD/Ret/Civ/ANG/AFR). Take flight with Teen Aviation Camp, June 15-21 at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Or aim for the stars with Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, held July 19-24 (ages 12-18) and July 26-31 (ages 15-18).
