Ajosepo
Choreography: Kemi OG Music: Koni Baje Ajosepo describes the act of coming out of quarantine and learning how to reconnect socially with others. Ajosepo is a Yoruba term, meaning "Let's do something together" or "let's work together." After being socially distanced and isolated for over a year, trying to navigate social connections especially as an introvert can be tricky, anxious, and nerve-racking. However, in the process of re-exploring the world outside, we find we are not alone in our feelings and reconnecting can be an adventure, just like when we first made friends on the playground, played games, and learned about others. We remember we are not alone and rediscover the value of company and community.
