Company Merger or Sale Gift a portion of your stock to EHS prior to sale to reduce taxes and maximize results. Qualified Charitable Distributions for IRA Required Minimum Distributions Donors who are 70 ½ or older, can utilize their IRA to make a charitable gift to EHS. A charitable contribution is sent from an IRA, directly to EHS. Downsizing Real Estate Gift all or a portion of your home to EHS prior to sale. Avoid capital gains, take a charitable deduction if you itemize. Utilizing Life Insurance Policy 1. Simply transfer a paid up policy’s ownership to EHS and name EHS as the beneficiary. 2. If an individual makes an irrevocable gift of a life insurance policy to EHS, they may qualify for current-year income tax deduction. Each successive policy premium payment may also then become a deductible charitable donation. The EHS development team can help facilitate any of the giving options.
