Question of the Month What made you join KIWIN'S and what are you most excited for this year?

First year members!

Featuring

Justine Chavez (9th) Richmond Well at RHS we have a thing called "Link Crew", 2 Seniors get a group of Freshmen and they help us through the year. Shawndy happens to be my link leader and he helped me sign up for a lot of different but really great clubs including KIWINS. I'm excited to become more social and meet new people while helping the community bc I struggle with that sometimes.

Dulce Serrano (12th) Making Waves Well...what made me join KIWINS was the fact that KIWINS LOVES giving and helping out the community. Which is something I really do admire. Not only that, but the fact that I had heard many life changing stories that come out of being a part of KIWINS. It just made me want to join and try it out. And im excited for everything KIWINS has in store this year!

Question of the Month What made you join KIWIN'S and what are you most excited for this year?

First year members!

Featuring Teejay Cornejo (12th) Oakland High

KIWIN’S and the people in it are very friendly and more outgoing with everyone in the group. I felt like I could the myself and since I joined I've enjoyed it. I'm excited about getting to know everyone more and meeting new people .

Kaykay Kho (9th) Hercules I joined KIWIN’S because I was told to by Nicolette Cruz, our Hercules President, that I have potential to join the club. I was curious and anxious, but I released how good of a decision it was. Well I’m very excited for DCON, and all the other small events. It’s a great way to meet people and do something helpful at the same time.

Welcome Making Waves to Jade Division! Featuring Club President Rusbel Angulo

My name is Rusbel Angulo, I am a highschool senior at Making Waves Academy. Through different organization and non-profits I exemplify the true characteristics of a community leader. Focusing in youth empowerment and violence prevention. My past work and current projects have influenced me to join and share the positive community of KIWIN’S at Making Waves Academy. In my personal life, academic life and in my involvement in KIWIN’S my goals are all the same. I dedicate myself to my personal excellence and to make history for and end product of prosperity.
