Meet K o r t n I 2014– 2015 Key Lea d r a o B t c i Distr Hey Jade Division!!!

I am Dennis Takeshita, your current co-Key Leader Ambassador, and my co-chair is none other than JADE! No, not Jade Division silly jaguars, Jade Wong! I hope your year of outstanding service is going well! Just a little about me: I love KIWIN’S! If you see me at DCON, please come and say hi and even ask me how I feel! I don’t bite, but I am a Goldstone Gator so I just might. I have been in KIWIN’S since my freshman year and I am now a senior at Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights. I run cross country and I do long and triple jump, so if any of you want to race or challenge me to jumps, YOU’RE ON. My favorite subject in school is history, odd right? I know. I get that a lot. But, history is great if you give it a chance! I also love binge-watching shows on Netflix like Grey’s Anatomy and Bones. But, enough about me! I LOVE THE JADE JAGUARS! Grandma Xiaodi, Mama Cerena, and your current Lieutenant Governor, Baby Elaine have all become good friends and have taught me a lot about Jade. You are all so great and I cannot wait to see what more you all can do! Jade Division is going strong and even sent representatives to Fall Rally South! It was great seeing you all and hearing those awesome cheers. Also, thank you those of you who attended our webinar! I cannot wait to hear about all the great Key Leader stories from those of you who go. If you ever need anything don’t be afraid to shoot me an email or call me! YOU ARE ALL SO GREAT! GO JADE JAGUARS!

KIWIN’S

ader Ambassadors HEY THERE JADE JAGUARS! My name is Jade Wong and I am so honored to be one of your 20142015 Key Leader Ambassadors! Even though my name is Jade, I'm from Goldstone. I'm currently a junior at Glen A. Wilson High School and still suffering from post fall rally syndrome (can't wait until DCON)! To say a little bit about myself: In my free time I enjoy binge watching netflix, playing tennis, baking, and of course eating (I once even ate 50 chicken McNuggets in one sitting). Being Key Leader Ambassador this year has been such a pleasure since I'm able to talk to a lot of the members (I even met some Jaguars from the Key Leader webinar we just had). Whenever I talk to one of you, I feel so inspired and proud to be a part of this organization. I have been a member for 3 years now, and I can definitely say that KIWIN'S has allowed me to break out of my shell. When I first joined, I was so awkward and adamantly refused to tell everyone how I felt while simultaneously hip thrusting. But now, I am slightly less awkward and can even hip thrust on call. I have only KIWIN'S to thank for this. With only half the year gone, Jade Division has already accomplished so many great things for KIWIN'S. I can definitely say that this division is one of the strongest this year, and that's all thanks to your passion and dedication. Being able to send many members to Fall Rally South was so impressive . I loved seeing your spirit and unity as a division. All of you have such potential to be great leaders and guide this organization into the future I would really like to talk to and meet more of you, so please feel free to contact me any time through email, facebook, text, or phone call!

My goal as Lieutenant Governor was to bring 30 members to Fall Rally North. This year, 60 Jade Division members went to FRN. The three schools worked together so well to win the spirit stick! Jade’s spirit was extraordinary.

What did you miss

Before DCM, UC Berkeley Circle K hosted their annual Key 2 College. Circle K Students answered questions that people had about college. They had college panels, workshops, and much more! This event was a great way to meet people from different high schools, key clubs, divisions, and etc. Members had the opportunity to get many questions answered as well as participate in activities organized by college students! This picture features Adrian Navarro participating in the Personal Statement workshop! Jade Division Newsletter
