This is consistent with our observations in the market, with sales of quality parcels being hotly contested as existing operators drive towards increased scale and efficiencies. Equally, any holding of scale remains a high priority for both new entrants and existing operators. Capital appreciation rates ranged from -5% in Tasmania to 17% in South Australia, with the NT being an outlier at 135.5%.
