June Praise and Prayer

Central and Eastern Visayas Regional Unit Praises Praise God for the successful Regional Assembly last 26 May 2012. It was attended by 34 graduates, college & high school students. We elected the new set of RAC: Cathy Son-Lauzon, Razel Raganas, Kevin Alex Piñero, Lisa Decenilla & Erwin Royo. Cecilia Vacunador (graduate representative) and the Redem Macabenta (Cebu Leaders Council representative) will join them.

Praise God for giving us partners who collectively gave P208, 337. 90 for the region’s General Fund for AY 2011 - 2012.

May they continue to partner with us this in the coming years.

Praise God for Kevin Piñero and Merlie Deal Balayo who expresses willingness in becoming a GT (graduate volunteer) this school year.

Prayers Please pray for our first CEV RAC meeting for the AY 2012-2013 on July 5, 2012. Pray for safe travel of our area representatives and for a fruitful discussion.

Pray for initial LCDC Planning on 16 June 2012.

We pray for wisdom for our student leaders in starting the campus fellowships this June. We pray also for more passionate Graduate Volunteers (GT) in our campuses.

Northern Mindanao Regional Unit Praises: Praise God for His provision and for the training opportunity. Seven delegates from the region were sent to KC this year.

Praise God! The AY 2011-12 has ended; the Lord's faithfulness has been evident. Despite great challenges everything is getting back to normal now after the calamities.

Praise God for the success of the National Grads Conference held in Dahilayan, Bukidnon. Thanks to some NM graduates who have helped greatly as host.

Prayers: Pray that as the new school year starts, our leaders will have fresh passion, hope, & joy to continue. Greater things are yet to come. Pray that as we aim greater things for the Lord's work this year, His provision will be great too. Many donors will be challenged to give towards our operation, so that all programs will be implemented.

Pray for our Grad Team volunteers that they will be able to help us do our ministry in campus; so that more students will be evangelized and discipled.

Pray for our full time GT volunteer-Ira Pauline Gabot. She'll be handling three campuses, all pioneering stage. Pray for wisdom and provision for her daily needs.

Dear Praying Friends and Partners,

We thank our Lord Jesus Christ for His faithfulness and mercy in sustaining our movement. Again, we will wage war against the principalities and powers of this world to win students for Christ and prepare them for His coming.

We invite you to join us in prayer. Together, we will shake the doors of heaven to break down walls and declare Jesus’ Sovereignty and Lordship over IVCF. “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Praises: 

Praise God! The AY 2011-12 has ended well and good. The Lord's faithfulness has been evident in the lives of our students, graduates and staff.



Praise God for the recently concluded Leadership Summit last June 11-12. Fortyone students came and were equipped to lead their own chapters. May they continue to have a hunger for the Word and be passionate to share Jesus to the lost.



Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

We will start this academic year debt free.

Praise Him for giving us four faithful and generous donors.

Prayers: 





Pray our students, graduate volunteers and staff. Pray for a renewed passion, joy and love for the things and work of God. Pray that they will be constantly attuned to the Holy Spirit’s leading in doing the ministry.

Pray for a smooth transition for our Regional Director- Reinstary Arlegui. He will take the leadership in the region as Shebel Solmia was transferred to another department.

The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Pray to the Lord of the harvest that He will send our workers in both college and high school fields.

Praise and Prayer 

Praises & Prayer: Praise God for Leon Mendigorin (UB) & Estalker Agron (Isabela State University) as KC2012 Campus delegates.

Praise God for 51 Donors who faithfully supported the region last AY 2011-2012. Praise God for their commitment and encouragement.

Praise God for RAC meeting with the students and other graduates last June 02 at Ate Helen Monta’s place. Ate Helen is our Regional Representative in National Graduate/ GT Conference last May 17-20 in Bukidnon.

Praise God for the 3rd Student-Leaders’ Training-Retreat conducted last May 31 to June 2 at The HUB Retreat Place.

Please pray for the New Academic Year 2012-2013 as classes open this June.

Pray for a fresh start of different campus chapters in Baguio-Benguet, Pangasinan and Isabela.

Pray for additional GTs and ISCF counselors who will be serving on the campuses this year.

Pray that more graduates will be supporting the region through prayer and financial support.

We praise the Lord for He has opened doors for the ministry in SLRU. New chapters were born last school year in:  Calamba National High School (CNHS)  Mamerta G. Tolentino Memorial High Schoo (MGTMHS) formerly Parang National High School  Cavite State University (CvSU), Naic  Indang and City College of Calamba (CCC).

Indeed God mightily sustained SLRU in its 2 nd year.



Praise God for the 8 students sent to KC 2012.

Praise Him for 11 students who joined the ISCFSibol Camp and 10 students joined ISCF-LCDC. Praise God for His provision and for the people He used to support us financially.



Praise God for His constant help, protection, provision and abundant grace to the SLRU staff team. Pray that God will continually help us in our transition. Ate Yvette will end her term in June 30 and Ate Ging will take the leadership until the end of 2nd quarter.



Pray that the donor base per local area will be strengthened. May God grant us wisdom and discernment in handling this area of ministry.



Pray that God will enable SLRU to grow and be more fruitful this year and onwards. Pray for new GTs and staff per area. May the good Lord provide our needs.

Praise God for…. the generous graduates and IV friends who continually support the work in the region.

We also praise God for the passionate student-leaders and volunteers who faithfully work together with the staff team to bring Christ to the student world and to lead the lost for Christ. the established partnership with other Christian organizations, educational institutions and local churches; we are working together for the transformation of the individual and our society.

His daily provision, unlimited grace and unconditional love in sustaining our students, graduates and staff in building God's Kingdom here in West Visayas.

Pray for…. the emerging leaders who will attend the area leadership summit. We pray that each chapter fellowship will have a representative to attend. This year's theme "Ambition and the Kingdom". This training will nurture their hunger for the Word and to ignite their passion for the lost. the preparation of the area assembly as the leaders council, graduate team and staff plan and organize this event in July. the direction, discernment, wisdom, creativity and passionate heart for all who will take part in the ministry this AY 2012-2013.
