Most of the jewelry is handmade, and sourced from New York, Savannah, Florida and locally. The majority of the apparel is made in the United States, Italy, Portugal and Canada. “We’re buying most of our merchandise from small batch American and European sources, so you are not likely to find it anywhere else. In fact, we have exclusive rights to sell many of our items in this area.” David said. Handmade Italian leather handbags imported directly from Italy and fashion forward men’s shirts are top sellers. MIXED NUTS OPENS SECOND LOCATION

For several years, many of Mixed Nuts Boutique & Consignment’s customers and consignors have been suggesting they need a larger store. They are thrilled to announce the opening of their second location in the Village: Mixed Nuts South. Located at 548 Ocean Blvd. (directly across from Porch), the shop is about two thirds the size of their “North” location, which will remain their flagship store. RISH NAMED NEW CMO

Hospice of the Golden Isles welcomes new Chief Medical Officer, Lindsey Rish, M.D. to fill the position vacated by Dr. Michael Shaner, who is retiring after 12 years of service. She’ll be working closely with him over the next several months to ensure a smooth transition. Dr. Rish is board-certified in Family Medicine and board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She completed her Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship in Jacksonville, Florida, under the mentorship of Dr. Ana Sanchez at Community Hospice & Palliative Care. Dr. Rish says, “I am honored and excited to be joining the HGI family.
