IT’S A MASKED BASH

See out the old year and ring in the new with a Masquerade Party at the Ballroom by Beach House on Jekyll Island. Formal attire is not required, but masks are an essential part of the evening’s fun. Things get started at 8:00 p.m. with a DJ playing all your favorite tunes straight into the New Year. A selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres will keep you fueled to hit the dance floor until things wind down at 1:00 a.m. Tickets are $89 per person and include a midnight champagne toast. So, slip behind your favorite disguise and accessorize with your dancing shoes! Bring 5 non-perishable items for donation to the food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank to receive a voucher for a free drink. MOON OVER BUFFALO

“The King of American Farce” Ken Ludwig, and the Brunswick Actors Theatre cast will have you laughing yet again with December’s production of “Moon Over Buffalo.” Amidst family crises, George and Charlotte Hay, a husband-and-wife team of actors, struggle to perform “Cyrano de Bergerac” and “Private Lives” in repertory. The possibility of a Hollywood director’s visit makes for even more chaos! Performances December 9-11 and 16-18, Friday & Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m., 1413 Newcastle St., Brunswick.
