Beginning with Seth Anandram Jaipuria’s pioneering initiative to set up Jaipuria College in Calcutta as far back as in 1945, the commitment of the House of Jaipurias to providing superior quality education has only deepened and grown since then. It is this heritage spanning over five decades and four generations that distinguishes us from the others. Commitment to Education Besides Seth Anandram Jaipuria College in Kolkata (formerly known as Calcutta) which had the distinction of being inaugurated by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the House of Jaipurias later established a Jaipuria School each in the cities of Kanpur and Lucknow. Both these schools are well known not only for imparting quality education but also for effecting all-round development to the students. Setting up of four Jaipuria Institutes of Management at Lucknow, Jaipur, Noida and Indore, took this commitment to the next level. We are guided by an overarching mission to promote human well being through effective education. Jaipuria’s Approach to Learning We believe in a learner-centric approach, where learning is imparted using means suited to an individual’s abilities and interests. What employers want? Leadership The scarcest resource in business today is leadership. Many forget that it is the people who serve customers, create new ideas and make companies great. The level of motivation and passion they share while engaged in the company’s agenda, is what marks the difference between good and great organizations. As leaders, our main challenge is to create the right environment or opportunity that stimulates our people and enhances their capacity to produce, create and focus their latent energy. Dr. J. D.
