International MARKETINg update


It’s almost this time of the year again!!! Yes it’s hard to believe that the festive season is just around the corner and Christmas is on our doorstep! 2014 has been very exciting for team International. Following our conference in Malaysia we have rebuilt our stores in Indonesia! This is an exciting time for the region to implement our new look and feel, which will create a consistent brand experience for our customers who visit this location. In line with Indonesia’s rebuild they have launched our green range. Malaysia and Singapore have also introduced the green range and it has proven to be a hit! This quarter we have seen the opening of Boost on one of the busiest retail hubs, Orchard rd. Our partners in Singapore have been working around the clock to have the site open before the busy Christmas trading… Across the sea, South Africa has expanded with an additional 4 stores being added to their network. it goes to show the lions are roaring for more, perhaps the cricket team need more Gym Junkies to get into shape for

the summer cricket season!

Team UK have also grown this quarter with an additional two stores to their expansive portfolio! India has also increased its presence in some gyms, which has increased their sales line! With all of the new store openings over the past 12 months we are now sitting at a total of 125 international stores. Next year will shape up to be a busy year for our international team! We will be commencing new partner training for Taiwan and Cambodia. Team Estonia are expanding and we are looking forward to Finland joining our international family! On the numbers side we have seen an average of 13% increase in net store performance. We have also seen a 49% increase in network comp sales growth (inc new stores) over the past 12 months. On the marketing front here in Australia, as our teams are gearing up for the busiest month of the year we had some very exciting campaigns to finish off the year. WYNG CAmpaign As per previous years when WYNG has run, in addition to this, for the first time ever we were excited to have introduced a digital element that invited our customers to be more involved! Customers could register their names on the new WYNG site via Facebook for their chance to win their name a Free Boost! Only within two weeks we got some really happy news: reached over 6.4million people on Facebook alone, with over 4.4 million coming from organic and viral reach, we’ve increased our Facebook followers by 33.20% with 85,000 new followers!

Boost App – Order Now Campagn 4 Oct – 2 Nov During October we turned our attention to the Boost App and encouraged customers to ‘Order Now’! We are always looking to stay ahead of the times at Boost, and with the Boost App – we are! With the Boost App we can make our customer’s experience in our stores that little bit better. The ‘Order Now’ feature was released on 21 August and this has already been popular with customers! The ‘Order Now’ App allows customers to avoid the queue by ordering in advance and picking their Boost up at a time convenient to them.

Celebrity Range 3 Nov - 25 Dec Currently in store and for the first time ever, we had 4 brand new celebrity smoothies! Our favourite Australians from TV, radio, the music world and the kitchen have created their very own Boost recipes! Not only that‌ For any size Celebrity Smoothie purchased, Boost will donate 50c to their nominated charity. Support worthy causes, while spoiling our taste buds with delicious smoothies!

Since the campaign is still blending until the 25th of December, data for the campaign analysis is still pending but here is an overview on how it performs so far:

There will be plenty of exiting campaigns to come in 2015, which we all can’t wait for! Launching at the end of the month is the biggest Disney animation-Big Hero 6. Following that we’ll be introducing our new red raw campaign, which will include two new red juicy drinks featuring beetroot to our menu! Ready for red?!
