LODGE OVERVIEW HISTORY

Tucked away in a secluded canyon in the Rocky Mountains, Taylor River Lodge draws on a rich history that whisks guests away to another place and time. Formerly used as a local’s general store for fishing and tackle, the property has since been transformed into a private, eight-cabin retreat. Though the amenities’ sophistication has been elevated drastically, much of its original personality has been preserved. The spaces are clad in details like vintage photographs, antique finds representative of the region, custom accents fashioned from historic materials, and the conservation of the original six-inch D-log kits.

LODGING REQUIREMENT & INCLUSIONS

A two-night full buyout minimum is required for all events, including but certainly not limited to the night before and the night of your event.* Taylor River Lodge can accommodate up to 32 guests and includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and daily housekeeping. Event inclusions start at 2:00pm on the day of your event. Thereafter, all inclusions and exclusions follow the event contract.

*Depending on the season dates, we may require a 3 or 4-night minimum buyout.

This captivating property has both indoor and outdoor areas for tented or open air gatherings, allowing for a variety of event spaces that bring your “best day ever” vision to life.

EVENT SPACES

Venue space includes exclusive use of Taylor River Lodge for your ceremony and reception. The property includes a picturesque outdoor lawn for an open air ceremony, a dapper indoor bar for cocktail hour, and tent space for dinner and dancing. There are also indoor venue options within the pool house.

PRICING & INCLUSIONS OVERVIEW

A venue fee of $10,000 and 2-night minimum buyout is required.

Buyout Requirement

A minimum of a two-night property buyout is required to host your wedding at Taylor River Lodge.* Buyout prices are exclusive of the venue fee and dependent upon the season and number of guests. Please inquire with our sales team to learn more about starting rates for wedding buyouts.

Venue Fee Inclusions

Venue Fee: $10,000

Included Space

• Includes: Lodge, pool room, bath house, Copper John game cabin, spa cabin, outdoor space

• Exclusive use of Taylor River Lodge common areas for event preparation, reception, cocktail hour, and ceremony

Furniture Removal

• The Lodge | Only tables and chairs can be removed An additional fee will be applied to remove additional furniture from the Lodge

• The Pool House | Only lounge chairs can be removed

A cover can be installed over the pool and hot tub, requiring both the pool and hot tub to be closed 24 hours before and after the event

Grounds Amenities

• Coffee and ice at the event

• Bridge access until dusk

• Fire pits lit and managed for the duration of the event

• Lanterns placed around the portion of the property that is utilized during the event

• Manicured and prepared outdoor areas

• Coat racks

Staff

• A lodge manager, two lodge staff, and a groundsperson will be on duty during the event to ensure that the property and facilities are maintained

Event Set-up and Breakdown Time

6 Hours total, split before and after the event.

Additional hours are available at an additional cost.

Venue Fee Exclusions

Required additions that are excluded from $10,000 venue fee:

• Accommodations (2-night buyout minimum required) Use of the pool, sauna, hot tub, or private guest rooms during the event

• Wedding planning services

Day-of wedding coordinator services are mandatory and pre-event planning services are highly recommended. A list of preferred vendors can be found on page 18

• Garbage receptacle and trash removal services

• Tents | Required for all Outdoor Receptions

• All rentals, including but not limited to: Furniture, linens, glassware, flatware, dinnerware, and serving pieces

• Beverages

All alcohol must be provided and served by Eleven. No outside alcohol is permitted. See next section for further details

Guests have the option to use Eleven’s culinary services or an approved outside caterer. The catering service will need to provide service staff. See “preferred vendors” on Page 18.

Eleven’s culinary team can create a customized menu based on the event and guest preferences.

Outside Catering

Guests also have the option of working with a separate outside caterer as long as that caterer is approved by the Eleven Experience Team.

IN-HOUSE BEVERAGE PROGRAM

All alcohol at Taylor River Lodge must be provided and served by Eleven.

Details

No outside alcohol is permitted. House and reserve alcohol packages are available for an additional charge, detailed below. The liquor license spans the entire Taylor River Lodge property. Due to the licensing, guests are not allowed to bring their own alcohol onto the proper ty and all alcohol must be purchased through a whole sale account. Special requests can be made through the Lodge Manager.

Event Exclusions

House alcohol is included during the stay for guests lodging at Taylor River Lodge but not during the event. This alcohol inclusion ends at 2:00 pm on the day of the event and begins again the next day.

Bar Staff

Bartenders will be provided by Eleven at an additional fee of $35/hour per bar staff member. The number of bar staff is based upon the number of event guests. There is a 4-hour minimum for bar service.

• 1-20 Guests: 1 Bartender

• 21-45 Guests: 2 Bartenders

• 46-75 Guests: 2 Bartenders and 1 Barback

• 80+ Guests: 3 Bartenders and 2 Barbacks

Guests can choose between our house or reserve selections, charged on either an hourly or consumption-based rate.

Special Alcohol:

Specific alcohol labels are not guaranteed. Comparable products may be subbed in based upon availability. Guests will be responsible for requesting any special alcohol, regardless of whether the alcohol is consumed.

All Alcohol Selections Include the Following Specialty Mixers:

Fever Tree Club Soda, Fever Tree Tonic, Fever Tree Ginger Beer, Fever Tree Ginger Ale, Grapefruit Juice, Cranberry Juice, Grenadine, Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix, Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite.

Please note: House alcohol is included for guests of the lodge during the stay. During the event, a discount on bar packages will be applied for guests of the lodge. All alcohol at Taylor River Lodge must be provided and served by Eleven. No outside alcohol is permitted.

SUPPLEMENTAL SPECIFICATIONS

STAFFING AND COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS

Staff Role

• Our staff will ensure that the property, including the buildings and operations, remains functional.

• Our staff are not trained as event staff and will not act as such, but they are excited to deliver an amazing experience for you and your guests as trained Eleven hospitality staff.

Staff Style

• In keeping with Eleven’s unpretentious personality and the lodge’s rustic atmosphere, staff are likely to wear flannels instead of black tie attire. You can generally liken the level of formality to a fireside PBR ambiance instead of a goldplated, white-gloved presentation.

Communication Pathways

• The Hospitality Team will be responsible for communication with wedding planners and all wedding related questions, comments or planning.

• The Experience Team will be responsible for planning the rest of the guests’ stay, including activities, rooming assignments, and travel logistics to the property.

• Wedding-related planning through the Lodge Manager can begin earlier, but the Experience Manager’s role planning on-property guest stays will begin 30 days out. We know that wedding planning involves extensive preparation and we want to ensure that you feel comfortable and supported through the entire process.

Communication Timing

• The Lodge Manager will connect with the wedding planner (and wedding party if necessary) at approximately 60 days out to ensure that everyone understands the inclusions and exclusions. At this point, the Lodge Manager can also field any other questions regarding the event and assist with pointing you in the right direction where necessary.

• The Experience Manager will connect with the wedding party and the guests staying at the property 30 days out to plan the entirety of their stay beyond the event, including itinerary, guest information forms, travel logistics, and more.

BUDGETARY EXPECTATIONS

Incidental Billing

• All incidental expenses accumulated during the stay will be charged to the final bill. In most cases, the wedding vendor expenses will be coordinated through the wedding planner and billed separately.

• All bar expenses will be paid upon checkout.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN DOES MY EVENT NEED TO SHUT DOWN?

Music must end by 10:00 pm at the Property due to Taylor Canyon noise ordinance. All event guests not staying at the Property must depart by 11:00 pm. Live music and/or DJ’s will not be permitted after 10:00 pm. Their congregation on the Property after the Event is prohibited.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?

All alcohol at Taylor River Lodge must be provided and served by Eleven. No outside alcohol is permitted. See Page 13.

IS CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?

While childcare is not included, we’re happy to provide babysitting options on site. Speak with your Experience Planner to coordinate details.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE FOR MY GUESTS?

Parking is very limited at Taylor River Lodge. For wedding guests not staying on property, we suggest shuttles from town. Shuttles are not included but can be arranged through an external vendor by your event coordinator or wedding planner.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee early access, but feel free to reach out closer to the arrival date and we will let you know.

HOW MANY PROPERTY TOURS OR SITE VISITS CAN WE DO WITH OUR VENDORS?

We limit property tours and site visits to 2 per wedding. This is due to our busy schedule accommodating other guests and maintaining seasonal operations.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

Dogs are allowed in specific cabins and must follow our pet protocol. Please reach out for more details.

IS STREAMING AVAILABLE?

Streaming services are allowed and must be organized through an external vendor.
