The 2030 Agenda
Do you know what the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is? Let’s find out.
In 2015 the United Nations (UN) decided that we all must work together to find solutions to the problems of our world.
The main aim is to end poverty in all its forms, to create ‘a world of universal respect for human rights and human dignity, the rule of law, justice, equality and non-discrimination’.
The UN created 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and set a deadline to reach them: the year 2030.
It is very important that all citizens contribute to the agenda.
