Time and date
L’ora
L’ora in inglese si può chiedere in due modi: What’s the time? oppure What time is it?

I numeri ordinali
1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th
first second third fourth fifth sixth seventh eighth
9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th 16th

30th 40th 50th 60th 70th 80th 90th 100th
thirtieth fortieth fiftieth sixtieth seventieth eightieth ninetieth hundredth

Here are the instructions for how to make a mummy.
1 Wash the body in Nile water. Take out the organs. Wash the organs and put them in canopic jars. Put the heart back in the body. The heart is the centre of intelligence and of the soul.
What are Canopic Jars?
2 Cover the body with a special salt called natron. After 40 days the body is completely dry.
Qebehsenuef
Canopic jars are special containers for organs. Each canopic jar has a top with the head of a god. Hapi is the god with a baboon head and contains the lungs. Duamutef is the god with a jackal head and contains the stomach. Imsety is the god with a human head Imsety and contains the liver. -ing form
Per esempio: I like reading, mi piace leggere. I love cooking, adoro cucinare. I don’t like drawing, non mi piace disegnare.
