Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is a royal castle. It is in Berkshire, England. It is the largest inhabited castle in the UK. This means that people live in the castle today. Queen Elizabeth often stays at Windsor Castle at the weekend. It is her favourite place! Who built it? King William the Conqueror. Things to see In the castle you can see Queen Mary’s dolls’ house. You can watch the guards march along the High Street in Windsor.

Houses in the UK There are lots of different types of houses in the UK. Let’s take a look together. This is a detached house. It’s got a garage and a garden.
You can see cottages in the countryside. The roof is made of straw. These are terraced houses. They are joined together.
Queen Elizabeth II lives in Buckingham Palace. A palace is a very large house!

1 Rinse an empty plastic bottle and let it dry.
2 Use the cardboard to cut out eyes, ears and nostrils (the ears need tabs).
3 Attach them with sticky tape. 4 plastic bottle tops
4 Use bottle tops to make the legs and glue them in place.
