Winter is coming and with it comes the snow. Lots of snow, hopefully! Because in Scotland it’s time to get out your skis, put on your snow-boots and get moving! Do you like skiing, or snowboarding, or even mountain-climbing in the snow? Maybe you don’t know, but you can do all of these things right here in Scotland. In fact Scotland is becoming more and more famous for its winter sports, attracting snow-sports fans from all over the world. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. It is situated in the Grampiam Mountains in the Highlands of Scotland. Ben Nevis is popular with sports fans and is the main UK destination for ice-climbing (climbing up mountain walls which are made from ice).
