IDM Safety Solutions was created to provide new opportunities in the region and to provide businesses with practical and pragmatic safety support, not to penalise or create duress for business owners but to help identify and resolve issues and potential issues, taking a balanced and pragmatic approach and turning today's problems into tomorrow’s opportunities.

2022 has seen IDM take home Business to Business Services Start-up of the year for Scotland and Iain won Start-up Entrepreneur of the year for Scotland and Northern Ireland at the GBEA awards in December 2022.

IDM Safety Solutions is a multidisciplined Health and Safety services provider with full trade support.

Started in August 2020 by Iain Macphail, with only his final wage in his pocket, Iain has since then created (to date) 12 new opportunities within the Highlands

Since inception the trade element has really taken off which led Iain to create IDM Energy which will now focus on the trade and renewables work requested by IDM’s clients.

IDM is founded on Empowering our people, taking a balanced approach to work and life, being transparent with everyone at each

IDM has created 12 new jobs within the region from senior management positions, admin and trade positions to apprenticeships.
