SuperFOIL, prides itself on being both innovative and versatile

SuperFOIL is the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of foil insulation products which offer high performance while also being versatile, lightweight and easy to install.

Unimpressed by insulation on the market, Craig Bown decided to explore his own options when renovating his home in 2006.

Outgrowing warehouse after warehouse, and scaling up their on-site and UK manufacturing, the company purchased its current premises in Lincoln in 2019.

Working alongside his dad, Will Bown took over as Managing Director in 2017. The company now employs more than 40 people and produces 1.5 million square metres of insulation per year.

Made with 45% recycled material on average, SuperFOIL offers highperforming multifoil insulation solutions for trade contractors, professionals and DIY projects through stockists, retail and online outlets. The firm is committed to providing customers with the best solution through honest, expert, technical advice.

SuperFOIL manufactures some of the highest performing products on the market, including the world’s highest-performing multifoil, SF60. Certified, 3-in-1 products, these provide a much-needed vapour control layer and radiant barrier, with a lifespan of 50+ years.

It offers excellent value for money and is ideal for new build, retrofit and timber frame projects.

Products can be used anywhere in the home, including walls, roofs and floors.

Sustainability is one of SuperFOIL’s core business values; its workforce is carbon negative/climate positive and, in manufacturing its products, it recycles the equivalent of 80 million plastic bottles per year. It also produces ZERO waste to landfill with all waste being recycled or used to generate and export electricity to the grid. In 2022, SuperFOIL invested £500,000 into its UK manufacturing to create more products at its HQ and using materials made locally - reducing carbon emissions and helping it to meet the rising demand for insulation and energy efficiency solutions.
