Pasta Evangelists, the UK’s leading fresh pasta company, based in London, invites Brits to prepare five-star pasta dishes in five minutes, bringing the authentic tastes of Italy to homes across the country

Pasta Evangelists’ mission is to elevate the Italian speciality of pasta fresca (fresh pasta). Using only the finest seasonal ingredients and, whenever possible, Italian produce, all the pastas and sauces are handmade in London by Pasta Evangelists' expert chefs. Dishes include best-sellers such as ‘Carbonara of Dreams’, Reginette with Beef Shin & Barolo Wine Ragù and Fresh Basil Pesto Lasagne from the Italian Riviera.

Delivered direct to customers’ homes, each Pasta Evangelists box includes freshly handmade pasta, an authentic Italian sauce, garnishes and instructions on how to prepare the dish in minutes. A new menu is launched weekly, with a choice of twenty pasta dishes, as well as a selection of focaccia, antipasti, desserts and salads. Little-known pasta shapes take centre stage, along with traditional recipes passed down through generations across Italy’s twenty regions. Regional specialities include Amalfi-inspired Lobster, Crab & Prawn Tortelloni with Tarragon Butter and Fresh Samphire, fragrant Wild Boar Ragù from Tuscany and Salsa di Noce from Genova, bringing a little Italianita - ‘Italian-ness’ - to British kitchens.

Established in 2016, Pasta Evangelists is led by founder & MD Alessandro Savelli, an Anglo-Italian entrepreneur with a background in luxury retail and finance, with co-founders Chris Rennoldson and Finn Lagun. In January 2021, Pasta Evangelists was bought by the Barilla Group, a 133-year-old pasta and bakery enterprise. Over the years, Pasta Evangelists has continued growing by entering the takeaway market - bringing fresh, hot pasta directly to customers from over 30 kitchens across the country. 2021 also saw the launch of their flagship Pasta Academy in Farringdon, where customers are taught the art of fresh pasta, led by expert Italian chefs.

Londoners can also dine on fresh pasta specialities at Pasta Evangelists’ first restaurant, The Pasta Bar, in the prestigious dining hall at Harrods. With a modern Italian menu curated by Head of Food Michele Rodelli (formerly of the Michelin star Hakkasan Group), Harrods specials include Pappardelle with Aberdeen Angus Ragù, Black Truffle Cacio e Pepe and Spicy Lobster Spaghetti. British shoppers are also able to purchase Pasta Evangelists products to take home from the Harrods Food Hall and to enjoy pasta shapes & sauces you can’t find anywhere else.
