Word from the Editor What’s up, y’all! I want to say a big Thank You for picking up the second issue of Kentlake KeyNotes. I received many words of encouragement after posting the first issue last month, both verbally and through technology. I’ve never been more happy in my life (except when I became the Bulletin Editor). I was proud of my last work, but I’m even prouder this month. Last month’s was a little rushed so it isn’t as nice as this one. With this April Newsletter, I’ve added a little touch here and there, messing with Photoshop. However, most of the pictures were supposed to have a border around them, but Publisher somehow made pictures disappear when printing into PDF. I don’t know what happened, but removing all borders was the only way to fix this problem. Oh, well. I hope you enjoy April’s newsletter. Stay Toasty, Key Clubbers! ~Elizabeth Garrison

April Skate to Cure DCON may be over, but the spirit still lingers. On the seventh of April, the Friday right after DCON weekend, State to Cure took place at Sno-King Ice in Renton. Division 32 members wobbled on the ice, tumbling right and left. With PDS (Post DCON Syndrome) still in our hearts, Skate to Cure was a great way to get together with newly made friendships within the division. Chants were exchanged, spirit battles were fought. Let’s not forget the countless bruises many people received when falling on the cold ice. Skate to Cure raised $680 for KCCP!!! I hope to see many more members from Kentlake next time to join in on the fun. And remember! Rawr xd
