Letter from the LTG Tera Chea Hello, Kentlake Key Club! My name is Tera Chea and I will be serving as your 2017-2018 Lieutenant Governor! What is a Lieutenant Governor you might be asking? I exist to act as the liaison between the Divisional level and the District level and to make sure all my officers and clubs have the resources they need to be strong and happy. I’m actually a senior at Kentlake but I attend Green River for the Running Start program so Kentlake is my lovely home Key Club. I’m always here if you have questions or concerns, whether it’s for me or my cat, Beyonce. I’m so excited to start the school year with you all!

Letters from the Club Officers President: RuthAnne Kepler Hi, my name is RuthAnne Kepler and I am the president of Kent lake Key Club! This year I, with the help of my officers, plan to expand key club through retention of previous members and the recruitment of new ones. With new opportunities through the fundraising committee and more class reps, all members can really make a difference! The board's goal this term is to make our club more inclusive, to make anyone and everyone welcome! To really make a change in your community and in the world (by helping support charities such as Kiwanis Children Cancer Program) come to Kentlake Key Club's first meeting on September 21st in room 2611 at 2:30pm!

Letters from the Club Officers Webmaster: Taryn Nourse Hi everyone~ my name is Taryn and I'm the webmaster here at Kentlake. I'm very passionate about Key Club and being an officer so I plan to always keep up on my duties and make sure they're done with the best quality possible! I'm going to make lists and reminders so i remember what to do and can get it done in a timely manner (this is helpful in school too :o)). My main goal for this school year is to be the best dang webmaster our club has ever had (even though I’m the only one) and to make sure that people are able to get the information they need online. I really want to utilize our social media so that members are informed about all the events happening within our school and division--that way we can get higher attendance at both community service and social events! I'm really excited for this year and can't wait to key-nect with new people :,)

Seattle Rally | 7-22-17
On July 22, all divisions in the Seattle area was invited to Bellevue High School for a day of fun. From 9am to 3pm, key clubbers attended workshops to better their clubs, learn more about Key Club, or had fun learning new craft ideas. Much like a mini DCON, we had guess speakers, a miracle minute, and a talent show filled with skilled club members. Spirit battles were held throughout the day and especially at lunch. New friendship were made throughout the different divisions. Kentlake had an amazing time, and I certainly had a great time learning how to make ribbon leis. If you’re ever curious how to make one, just ask and I’ll be glad to help. Can’t wait for next year’s Seattle Rally! I hope to see you all there!!
