The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of an organism.
All living things are made up of at least one cell Unicellular
Multicellular
Every cell comes from another preexisting one
All cells are formed by cytoplasmic membrane, cytoplasm and genetic material
The nucleo controls the cell. The cytoplasm is the liquid that surrounds the nucleo. The cytoplasmic membrane covers the cell. Genetic material is the responsible of everything in the cell.
There are two types of cells Prokaryotic
Eukaryotic
Prokaryote
Bacteria and cyanobacteria are prokaryotes
Eukaryote
Algae
,
protozoa
Fungi
,
plants
and animals , are
eukaryotic.

Differences between animal and plant cells. Common structures: - Cytoplasmimembrane. (CM) - Cytoplasm. (C ) - Mitochondria. ( M) - Endoplasmic reticulum, ( SER ) - Golgi apparatus. ( GA ) - Cytoskeleton. ( Cy ) - Nucleus ( N )
Different structures: Centrioles. ( Ct ) Cell wall. ( WC ) Chloroplasts. ( Cl ) Vacuoles.( V )
Functions of living things Nutrition Interaction Reproduction
Nutrition The set of processes that enables us to use and transform the substances we need to stay alive
Types of nutrition Autotrophic
Heterotrophic
Interaction Ability to respond to variations (stimuli) of the medium
Reproduction Process by which living organisms originate others like them.
Reproduction can be:
Examples of asexual reproduction in plants
Example of asexual reproduction in animals
Sexual reproduction in plants
Examples of sexual reproduction in animals
