SUMMER LEARNING ADVENTURES INFORMATION

Dates:

Summer School begins on Monday, June 19 and runs through Friday, July 21. There will be no classes held on Monday, July 3 & Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Times:

Incoming 5K - Current 5K (Momentum Program) at Brookfield Elementary Classes begin at 8:00am and end 11:55am

Grade 1 - Grade 3 at Swanson Elementary Classes begin at 8:10am and ends at 12:05pm

Grade 4 - Grade 8 at Brookfield Central High School Classes begin at 8:15am and ends at 12:15pm

Location:

Incoming 5K - Current 5K (Momentum Program) at Brookfield Elementary, 2530 N Brookfield Rd, Brookfield. PLEASE REGISTER ALL STUDENTS AT THEIR CURRENT GRADE.

Current 1st - 3rd grade classes will be held at Swanson Elementary, 305 North Calhoun Road, Brookfield. PLEASE REGISTER ALL STUDENTS AT THEIR CURRENT GRADE.

Current 4th - 8th grade classes will be held at Brookfield Central H.S., 16900 Gebhardt, Rd, Brookfield WI 53005. PLEASE REGISTER ALL STUDENTS AT THEIR CURRENT GRADE.

Fees:

The District will use Infinite Campus to allow parents to pay summer school transportation fees. You are encouraged to pay fees online via a debit/credit card or e-check, no additional transaction fees will be applied. To begin, login to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. Refunds: NO BUS REFUNDS are issued once the summer school session has begun.

Open House:

Wednesday, June 14, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm You and your child can navigate the hallways to see where their classrooms are located. Staff will be available.

Registration:

• Registration opens on Tuesday, March 14 and closes on Tuesday, March 21 at 12PM at 12PM via the Infinite Campus Portal.

• For current Elmbrook District students you will log into your Infinite Campus Account and select 22-23 Summer School Registration. Follow the prompts to select your summer school courses.

• If you are a new family with children entering Kindergarten in 2022-23, please complete the District’s online enrollment form and provide required verification documents by March 6, 2023.

• PRIVATE & PAROCHIAL STUDENTS ENROLLING FOR SUMMER SCHOOL Online Enrollment Instructions

• New Private Parochial Students to Summer School: In order to be eligible to register for summer school you must complete the online registration and upload requested verification documents by March 9, 2023

• Returning Private and parochial students: If your child attended summer school in the district last year you will need to complete online enrollment in order to ensure we have the most up-to-date information on file. This needs to be completed by March 3. You do NOT need to provide residency verification or your child’s birth certificate.

• Course placement is by lottery, every student has the same priority in course placement. Your Summer School Schedule will be posted in your student’s Infinite Campus Account on or about April 4 at 12PM.

Transportation:

Due to the number of students enrolled in Summer School, students are strongly encouraged to use the district bus transportation. Students will board buses at their neighborhood school and be transported to summer school locations. At the end of the summer school day, students will be transported back. There is NO home-to-home service.

Bus transportation is not available for students attending only one or two periods a day. If your child receives free or reduced lunch at school, you are eligible for free tuition for bus transportation. You must notify the summer school office to have the waiver applied.

Transportation Fee:
