We will study Paper Crafting techniques including mini-scrapbooking crafts and other paper projects in this course. Students will explore crafting using paper or cards as the primary artistic medium for the creation of two or three dimensional objects

This class will focus on the STEM design process. Students will work on creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking as they build towers, bridges, catapults, marble mazes and more. They will plan, explore, design and build together using science, technology, engineering, and math skills.

The focus of this course is to develop students as writers by having them engage with a variety of genres, which may include narrative, argumentative, and informational writing. on topics of their choosing. Specific instruction will focus on leads, organization, elaboration, craft techniques, conclusions, and basic conventions. Instruction will be provided in a workshop format including whole group, small group and individually in order to target individual student needs and interests.

This course is offered to anyone, grades 4-8, looking to study privately or in a small group on a band or a string instrument. Space is limited to 180 in Band and 45 in Strings. Summer band and orchestra lessons offer students a chance to improve performance on their instruments, review technique in the summer, and play exciting music that will appeal to their ability and personality. Summer lessons offer students a chance to receive small group professional instruction. Each student will be scheduled for four 30 minute sessions. It is strongly recommended that incoming 6th grade students who are first time band or orchestra members consider signing up for this opportunity.

Calling all 6-12th grade band Elmbrook Schools Band Students! Join the Super Band and serve your community and honor your country by marching in the Brookfield 4th of July Parade! The Elmbrook Super Band consists of 6-12th grade band students and any Elmbrook 6-12th grade students can be in the band. We have one rehearsal in June before the school year ends and then we march in the parade on July 4th!
