ELSA Malta is proud to present an Article for this year’s IFP Week on ‘Blockchain and the Environment’. The International Focus Programme, or IFP, is based on a topic which is chosen by the Council, in order to focus the attention of the ELSA Network on a particular topic. The topic for this year’s IFP Programme is Environmental Law. This article delves into the manner in which blockchain technology can be used in order to improve environmental sustainability, and even potentially impact the manner in which future decisions in relation to environmental conservation are taken.
