A NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAYGROUND FOR PARIS CONVENTION CENTER

2022 VIPARIS (URW)

As part of a global renovation project of the exhibition center, VIPARIS commissioned us to create a children’s garden on the edge of the site during the reconfiguration of a parking lot and the fencing system. Designed as a pocket opened inside the green belt that surrounds the center, the garden is nestled between the street and a logistics area of the exhibition center, which is isolated by a combination of levels and dense vegetation.

Concrete blocks serve both as retaining walls and seating, framing the central play area conveying the ambiance of a clearing.
