Em’s Entries
My name is Emily Yang and I am beyond humbled to have the opportunity to serve as your 2017-2018 Lieutenant Governor! I am SO excited to see what this year will bring our FIN-tastic division and to see what each of you will accomplish! I know a lot of you are still unfamiliar with me, so I encourage you guys to not hesitate in emailing, calling, texting, and friending me on Facebook! Here are a few fun facts about me: ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖
I am a junior at Cypress Ranch Some of my nicknames include: Em, Yang, E-Yang, and, my favorite, Yang Money(there’s a backstory to this one) I have a sister who is 8 years older than me; I love and look up to her so much I love running and I used to play club and school volleyball, so I like to consider myself athletic ;) I am involved in competitive studio dance and have been dancing since I was 5 I LOVE LOVE LOVE traveling and hope to study abroad one day My friends peg me as a super energetic and friendly person who is like a personal dose of caffeine

Reminders Monthly Reports: Monthly reports are due every 5th of the month, with the exception of when it falls on a Sunday(then, they are due the next day). ❖ Please mail a physical copy to our new District Secretary, Shelby Morton(shelbymorton00@gmail.com): 4104 San Angelo Amarillo, TX 79118 ❖ Also email a copy to me, our Regional Advisor, Ms. Judy Pomorski, and Mr. George Crowl.
Newsletters and Articles: Just like Monthly Reports, newsletters and articles are also due on the 5th of every month(with the same exceptions). ❖ You should be sending 10 articles each month, and articles must have at least 400 words and one picture. ❖ For this month, because our new District Editor has not been appointed yet, please send your articles and newsletters to our District Governor, Jiya Willis (jiya.m.willis@gmail.com), and District Secretary, Shelby Morton. ❖ Again, please email a copy to me, our Regional Advisor, Ms. Judy Pomorski, and Mr. George Crowl. ❖

ICON The 2017 Key Club International Convention will take place July 5 - 9 in San Antonio, Texas! Donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t miss out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Key Clubbers from all around the world. Registration has been extended to May 10th, refer to the T-O Key Club website for more specifics.
Why go to International convention? Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s the biggest event of the Key Club year! Imagine celebrating the amazing things Key Club does with more than 1,600 Key Clubbers from all across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

Special K-Family Project Special Opportunity: Mr. Iselin, the T-O Kiwanis Division 3 Lieutenant Governor, has given us a chance to further our efforts in the Eliminate Project! T-O Division 3 takes pride in being one of the only 2 Divisions in T-O where all of the Kiwanis Clubs are pledged Model Clubs for the Eliminate Project(also home Division to Kiwanis Governor John Sheridan!!). YOU can help out by raising $100 by the end of June as an Eliminate donation in the name of Kiwanis, so that Division can achieve being a fully paid Model Club Division. Any Key Club that raises $100 for Eliminate by June 30th will be given a one of a kind T-O Kiwanis "Signature Project" patch for their banner. You can contact me and interact with other clubs to receive and exchange ideas for a successful fundraiser! All Eliminate funds for this special fundraiser must be sent to Mr. Iselin, contact him or me for a mailing address; if needed, he will meet with any club officer to pick up cash. Letâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s do our best to help out as this is only a project for Division 3!!

Message To Old and New Board To the newly retired District Board: Thank you so much for all of your hard work this past year! Additionally, thank you for all of your support in helping me learn everything I need to know before becoming a Lieutenant Governor. I will work hard this upcoming year to not let the mighty T-O down!
To the newly inducted and elected District Board: I am so, so, so excited to see what this next year will bring us! Let our journey begin as we heighten our dedication for serving not only our own communities, but also our precious divisions! 3W, mark my words because I will not let you down!
