The collaborative housing project on Walker Street is a response to environmental, economic and social challenges in modern society through providing an equitable, environmental and affordable bridge between city and dwelling. It does this through the provision of communal meeting, interaction, destination and working spaces. Multifunctional spatial design aims at increasing space efficiency, flexibility and adaptability over time, as users can directly manage privacy, exposure and interaction through operating different levels of thresholds throughout the gallery, faรงade and balcony spaces. The Walker Street project shall reinforce the notion of community- housing and spirit- by combining the need for privacy with equitable communal spaces, where social interaction is fostered through an interplay of differing levels of privacy. DESCRIPTION The ground floor is a continuation of the exterior public realm. The glass curtain wall blurs the line of exterior and interior. Retail and hospitality opportunities and the ground floor facing Little Bourke Street maintain the characteristics of the street and neighbourhood. Services are located to the north of the building. The library is accessible from both sides and caters for easily accessed public services such as Wifi, computers and printers, as well as a collection of books. GROUNDFLOOR

DIGITAL DESIGN QUEEN VICTORIA GARDEN PAVILLION - RAUMGESTALTER UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE, YEAR 2, SEMESTER 2
DAY RENDER UNREAL ENGINE - VIRTUAL REALITY SIMULATION
DESCRIPTION The pavilion “Raumgestalter” actively forms space and guides the visitor to create a wholesome interior experience. The pushing and pulling of the interior volumes create movement throughout the space and double as a diversion of differing programs. The notion of movement not only translates to the actual physical human movement, but also refers to the interaction with light penetrating the exterior shell by day, and how light guides the eye and the visual experience by night. The spatial organisation refers to the site, as the main access is facing towards the well frequented city and the actual performance/seminar space faces away from the busy St. Kilda Road, offering a quieter more private space to engage with.

Co_Munity is a development set in the cold and cosy setting of a swedish forest. After having explored random figure ground relationships, these shapes and positions have emerged in a way that resemble the boulders scattered across the site. The cabins and their shapes not only respond to the natural environment but provide a human scale that relates architecture, nature and people to one another. The circulation paths aim at providing the opportunity to explore the site and to evoke curious investigating. Co_Munity provides shelter, workspace, interaction, play, food production and educational spaces to correspond to needs of a small community.

DESCRIPTION The brief for the living house was to extend, transform and adapt the Edwardian house in 4 MacArthur Place North. It was intended to develop a layout for the house, which caters for a growing family over the course of the next 30 years. Furthermore it shall enable a better interaction between outdoor and indoor spaces, with better laneway access. The weaknesses of the site identified is the lack of sunlight access, the lack of utilisation of views, and the narrow and confined spaces throughout the house. The proposed design is intended to address and transform these weaknesses into a more liveable and adaptable space.

FURNITURE DESIGN COLLAB WITH SIMEON CHUA- B(1) FLOW PRODUCTION AT MELBOURNE SCHOOL OF DESIGN
FLOW AND LINES DETAIL
DESCRIPTION [B]01-FLOW is a collaboration with Simeon Chua, and investigates digital fabrication joints and techniques. It looks into marrying the conventional aesthetics of traditional craft with contemporary forms and structural principles and production techniques. The design was realised through CNC drilling and manual assembly.
