The role is varied and involves providing support for the Council’s decision making processes as well as general support. Specific responsibilities include agenda preparation, attending meetings and minute production in accordance with statutory requirements as well as maintaining various data bases and relevant areas of the Council’s website. The ideal candidate should have relevant knowledge and experience of committee administration, an eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, good inter-personal and communication skills, and strong IT literacy skills.
