Spa Therapist Langdale is set in 35 acres of woodland and waterways in the heart of the Lake District. We are a timeshare and hotel resort, with spa, 4 food and beverage outlets and brimstone, a 16 suite beyond boutique hotel.
Main duties include carrying out range of therapies for clients in an efficient and professional manner, to maximise revenue through careful diary management and proactive selling of spa retail products. You will also ensure the spa is kept clean and well maintained. The successful candidate should ideally possess a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in a similar establishment with Elemis, Anne Semonin, OPI nails, bareMinerals and Shellac products would be an advantage. Good communication and excellent customer service skills are essential. The Spa work closely with the leisure club to ensure high customer satisfaction therefore knowledge of pool operations would be an advantage. Training will be given where required.

Distribution Assistants Kendal Centre Fixed-term (approx. 4 months) Full–time 39 hour contracts Part–time 32 hour contracts 35 hour night contracts Between now and early January 2016, we need extra help in our distribution centre in Kendal. Our distribution team are responsible for picking and despatching stock against very tight deadlines for our home shopping department, our 69 retail stores throughout the UK and our overseas franchised stores. These are manual jobs, therefore you need to be able to reach and bend to pick items from shelving and pallets. You need to be conscientious and accurate, with good maths abilities and basic keyboard skills. You should be self-motivated as well as a good team player and be able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment. Roles involve operating order picking machines however full training will be given so no previous experience is required. Contracts available are full-time 39 hours (over 5 full days including one weekend day each week), part-time 32 hours (over 4 full days including one weekend day each week), and 35 hours, nights (on a 4 on 4 off rota system). Day shifts are operational between 7am - 11pm every day, apart from Sunday (currently 7am - 7pm). Your days and hours of work will be rota’d to include late and early shifts and we may require 6am starts as we get busier. Night shifts operate between 8.30pm - 7am over 4 nights (on a 4 on, 4 off rota). Due to the nature of the equipment used, applicants need to be over 18 years of age and be available to attend a pre–employment medical examination. Maintenance/Installation Electrician To help ensure our fleet of 16 vessels remain operational at all times and to ensure our shore premises are maintained and tested in accordance with regulations. This is a varied and interesting role carrying out all electrical repairs/maintenance/installation work throughout the company’s fleet of vessels and shore premises (including catering and retail outlets). Flexibility is key to this role and we expect the successful candidate to be willing to undertake other roles within the company, including sailing duties on board our vessels at peak times.
