This is a temporary post for 12 months to cover the maternity leave of the existing post-holder. The post is situated within the Council’s Housing Strategy and Delivery team. The post-holder will take a key role in the delivery of the Council’s statutory duties in relation to Disabled Facilities Grants. If you are motivated and willing to learn and enjoy working in a team we’d like to hear from you. This Advanced apprenticeship will be based within Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service. These vacancies are for 18 and over who are looking to embark on an apprenticeship within Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service. Due to the high-risk nature of the work applicants to Fire and Rescue Services, applicants applying for this apprenticeship need to be aged 18 years of age before the start date of the apprenticeship - 28th March 2016. As an apprentice, you’ll learn about the various ways to put out a fire using gas, powder, water or foam.
