We are seeking a practically-minded, pragmatic person, who is a good communicator to assist our surveyors and property management accountant in the day to day running of the property management portfolio.
We are now seeking new Trustees to ensure South Lakeland Mind continues to operate efficiently and efficiently, and develops new opportunities to expand our services, so that more individuals are able to improve their mental health.
Applicants should be personable, thorough and trustworthy. A responsive, action-orientated person with excellent communication skills is required. You will be dealing with tenant queries, solving problems and liaising with contractors to attend to repairs, compliance and also ensuring occupiers are complying with their obligations. The role is varied and interesting and would suit someone with a background in a practical profession. Experience in property management is not necessarily required (as we will offer training to the right candidate), but a positive, friendly team-player with a capacity to get things done is essential. As we deliver care to clients in their own homes it is ESSENTIAL that you have a driving license valid for the UK and have access to a reliable car. We offer a minimum hourly rate of £8.50 (£8.70 if you have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). We also pay travel time and mileage and provide you with great training which includes completion of the Care Certificate. We are also looking for friendly, reliable, honest and caring people to join our NIGHT TEAM to deliver a high standard of care and support to clients between the hours of 11pm to 7am. Working in a team of 2 you will be responsible for delivering care to clients within the community travelling between Windermere, Kendal and Arnside, it is therefore essential that you have a driving license valid for the UK and access to a reliable car.
