How do the hours work?
The role of a job coach is a term time only post for 3 days a week (21 hours). You are paid for 17 hours per week for 52 weeks a year. This ensures your hours and your pay are worked out annually. This role is perfect for fitting in with children at school or for the person who likes to take long relaxing summer breaks.
Where would I be based? You would be based at our Kendal office on Mintsfeet Industrial Estate; however you will be working within Kendal College and within local employers supporting learners in the work place.
Do I need to be a car driver? Ideally we would require you to be a car driver, as a minimum we would require you to work in and around the local area. Travel expenses are paid for this role at 30p per mile (business mileage insurance on your vehicle is a must).
Do I get training? If you have not got any experience don’t worry we will provide you with all the skills and training necessary for you to succeed in the role.
