Business Support Officer Time for a new start in 2021; join our existing team at the Lakes Hotel & Spa, Bowness on Windermere. In May 2021, the original Burnside Hotel & Spa will reopen as the five star Lakes Hotel & Spa and we need to recruit the following positions to achieve a five star service:
Concierge / Driver
To work with the existing concierge’s, to look after guest experiences the role will include chauffeuring guests in our Bentley to and from restaurants and the train station. May suit somebody with an existing Hackney carriage licence or be prepared to take the driving test. The right candidate needs to have great customer skills and be very approachable. The position is full time but we may consider part time. £24,500 per year plus gratuities.
Gate House
Based across two sites in Kendal, Cumbria Part time: 21 hours per week at £9.85 per hour (days to be agreed)
Springfield Domestic Abuse Support in South Lakeland is a charity supporting survivors of domestic abuse through the provision of a refuge service for up to 7 women and a range of community support services. We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to join our small staff team. The role will involve the co-ordination and management of key business support tasks, management of social media platforms and the provision of full administrative support to the management team. You should have demonstrable experience of administrative planning and management support, and the ability to work with a wide range of software packages and social media management tools.
The job will involve manning the Gate House and welcoming guests for their stay as part of the first impression of the hotel. Full and part time positions £9.40 per hour.
You will hold a qualification or be willing to work towards a qualification in online marketing or equivalent.
Receptionists
You will also have a clear understanding of clients who have experienced domestic abuse.
Two full time receptionists are required to join the existing team of 10. No experience necessary as training will be given. The role of a receptionist with in a five star hotel is to meet and exceed guest expectations and look after every part of their journey whilst at the hotel. The role can be very demanding but very fulfilling. Training salary £22,500 increasing to £24,000 after 4 months. Experienced receptionist £24,000 with an increase after 4 months.
