Receptionists
Two full time receptionists are required to join the existing team of 10. No experience necessary as training can be given. The role of a receptionist with in a five star hotel is to meet and exceed guest expectations and look after every part of their journey whilst at the hotel. The role can be very demanding but very fulfilling. Training salary £23,400 increasing to £25,116 after 4 months. Experienced receptionist £25,116.
Senior Chef De Partie
£28,500 per annum based on 48 hours per week.
Trainee Hotel Manager
To work and train in all departments of the hotel. No experience necessary but a commitment to the hospitality trade is important. The candidate would need great customer skills. The hotel prides itself on working as a team with everybody taking responsibility so teamwork is as important as good communication skills. Starting salary of £25,400 per annum, based on 50 hours per week.

Hillthwaite is a 34 bedroom hotel between Windermere and Bowness. We are a small but perfectly formed friendly team with hours ideally suited those who have to do a school run! Why is suicide an issue? • Suicide is at its highest level since 2002 with 6,507 deaths recorded in 2018. • In Cumbria, on average, one person dies per week as a result of suicide. • Lancashire and South Cumbria had the 4th highest suicide rate in the country in 2014-2015. • Worldwide government targets are to reduce deaths by suicide by 10% by 2021. We are recruiting Volunteers to work on a 1 - 1 basis with clients who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings. The commitment is for a couple of hours a week for 6 months. Full training and support is given and travel expenses paid. We are also building a team of Community Fundraising Volunteers. They will be crucial in helping to raise vital funds in our local area for local people affected by suicide in any way.
