She has complex care needs and is cared for by her husband in their own home. The role will include providing personal care with regular monitoring of the lady’s well-being. As part of the lady’s rehabilitation the role includes simple therapeutic exercises to help improve her communication and awareness. We are recruiting Volunteers to work on a 1 - 1 basis with clients who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings. The commitment is for a couple of hours a week for 6 months. Full training and support is given and travel expenses paid. We are also building a team of Community Fundraising Volunteers. They will be crucial in helping to raise vital funds in our local area for local people affected by suicide in any way.
