With three services in Kendal, there will be plenty of variety in your day-to-day as you provide care to people with learning disabilities and autism.

What’s required?

• 1 shift consists of 24.5 hours from 10am to 10.30am the next day (includes a sleepover), you can choose whether you do 1 or 2 of these shifts per week or 3 of these shifts on a rolling 3 week rota.

• Individuals with good computer skills and experience in using applications like Launchpad, iMovie, GarageBand, Facebook, Messenger, Zoom, Teams etc.
• Creative individuals and / or individuals with complimentary interests and skills in the areas of Filmmaking, Photography, Arts and Crafts, Music, Woodwork, Cooking, Gardening and Sport.
• We are rural, so driver with own car essential / clean licence desirable. Client has his own vehicle.
Your role will be to provide a comfortable, rich and fulfilling home lifestyle whilst simultaneously supporting the young man in his rehabilitation and maximising his potential and skills set. Day-to-day you will have responsibility to organise and support the client in personal care and hygiene tasks, his physio programme as well as carry out maintenance and domestic living tasks.

Customer Service Advisor
Working within our sales team, main duties include dealing with customers and advising them on product choice in a polite and professional manner, booking in surveys and installations, typing quotes, receiving and checking deliveries and general day to day tasks.
Sales experience is desirable and computer experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm ideally Wednesday and Friday (these days are negotiable) and three out of four Saturdays 10.00am –1.00pm. Holiday cover will be required. Pay is dependant on age and experience and is above the national living wage.
Fireplace Installer
Working within our installation team, main duties include:
• Assisting with the knocking out and construction of inglenooks
• Construction of media walls including plastering and the installation of electric fires
• Working with the engineers assisting with the installation of gas fires, fireplaces and woodburning stoves
• Good working practice including the cleanliness and up keep of tools and workspace
We are looking for somebody who is keen, enthusiastic, and polite with a willingness to learn a wide variety of skills as no previous experience needed but may provide useful.
Working hours are 8.00 am to 4 pm with extra hours worked when necessary. Pay is dependent on age and skill and is above the national living wage.

A-ha! Distribution is a family owned and run local business with a very strong team, committed to delivering high levels of service to all of our customers. We are looking for a Merchandiser to work 2-3 days per week from February to October.
The role involves visiting multiple outlets each day across Cumbria in a timely and efficient manner to deliver orders and stock up leaflet display racks. Completion of paperwork is a requirement of the role.
You will need to have an eye for detail, be friendly, tenacious and happy driving vans. The role is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness. Full training and company uniform will be provided.

About us
Kelsick’s Educational Foundation, also known as the Kelsick Trust, has been supporting schools, young people and youth groups in the Lakes Parish community since 1723 by giving educational grants to the under 25s. Income to fund these grants is derived from a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Ambleside, room hire from the Kelsick Centre in Ambleside (which is also the administrative base of the Foundation) and from financial investments.
About
the role
The Clerk is the senior officer of the Foundation, providing administrative support and advice to the Trustees on governance matters, as well as being responsible for the day to day financial and administrative management and operation of the Kelsick Centre. The role includes overseeing all Kelsick properties and other assets in conjunction with the Trustees and with property management advisers, investment managers and solicitors.
Work experience and skills requirements
We are looking for initiative-taking applicants that can demonstrate substantial experience of working in a financial/administrative environment, with a professional approach to work and a commitment to high standards of service and probity. You should have experience of office management, excellent communication and people skills, good planning and organisation and IT skills, and excellent attention to detail.
