Windermere Marina Village are a family owned marina, resort and self-catering holiday provider. We are looking for a team member to join our team in Bowness On Windermere. Based in the reception / reservations department you must be confident with telephone and face to face communication.
Working between the hours of 8.30am & 5.30pm this position includes working weekends on a rota basis and all bank holidays with the exception of Christmas and Boxing day. However there are no split shifts or evening hours. Salary dependant on experience £23,452.00-£25,584.00 per year pro rata.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook is essential and experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
Property Cleaner
2 Days per Week
Based in Bowness on Windermere our properties range from 1 to 5 bedrooms. All of our properties are in one locationno travel is required.
Main changeover days are Monday, Friday and Saturday working times are 10am to approx 2.30pm, additional week days may be available.
We are also interested in hearing from experienced property cleaners looking for ad hoc work in their quiet times. This is an employed position and we provide all cleaning products and linen.

We are looking for reliable, competent and responsible Support Workers / Personal Care Assistants who have lots of energy and a definite can-do approach to join our growing team in a welcoming and well-resourced domestic setting. Be able to provide a person-centred quality living and lifestyle experience for a charming young male adult with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy living near Carnforth.
What’s required?
• Appropriate qualifications (NVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) and experience of working in a similar environment and / or with challenging behaviour is desirable.
• The shifts have been re-developed to consider a better ‘work life balance’ and consist of a 24.5 hour shift starting at 10am through to 10.30am the next day including a sleepover - you get to decide how many of these shifts you would like, either 1 or 2 of these a week– you choose! Every other weekend is required whilst working these shifts.
• Highly motivated employees with a professional approach to work and a commitment to high standards and meticulous record keeping.
• Individuals with good IT skills and experience in using applications like Launchpad, iMovie, GarageBand, Facebook, Messenger, Zoom, Teams etc. would be an advantage.
• Creative individuals and / or individuals with complimentary interests and skills in the areas of Filmmaking, Photography, Arts and Crafts, Music, Woodwork, Cooking, Gardening and Sport would also be an advantage.
• We are rural, so driver with own car essential / clean licence desirable. Client has his own vehicle.
Your role will be to provide a comfortable, rich and fulfilling home lifestyle whilst simultaneously supporting the young man in his rehabilitation and maximising his potential and skills set. Day-to-day you will have responsibility to organise and support the client in personal care and hygiene tasks, his physio programme as well as carry out some domestic living tasks.
