A new ‘Accounts Administrator’ position at MTCS UK

We are looking for someone who’s got a good knowledge of at least one accounting package, ideally Sage Accounting software and has a recognised accounting qualification, or has evidence of working towards one.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be working from MTCS UK’s Windemere office for the first few months whilst training and then the role will become a ‘working from home position’ with regular meetings with your manager within the Windermere area.

The Accounts Administrators tasks will include, but not limited to the following:

• Raising sales invoices

• Processing purchase invoices

• Processing employees expenses/credit card transactions

• Maintaining the sales & purchase ledgers

• Bank reconciliation

• Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers

• Updating & maintaining procedural documentation

• General Accounts Administration

We require an Individual with:

• A high level of accuracy in order to produce and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation

• The ability to work both within a team and remotely.

• The ability to prioritize your workload

• Excellent communication skills

• The ability to work under pressure

• Ideally some knowledge of windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 (word, excel),outlook, and google sheets however training will be given

The position is a part time role of 3 days a week (flexibility and full time work may be a possibility) with a starting salary of £25,480.00 per annum pro rata

Windermere and District Food Bank (Trussel Trust Franchise)

Project Manager

Permanent Part Time role over 3 days each week for 3 core hours each session when the Foodbank is open, with some additional variable paid hours as the job requires.

Pay rate £13.50 per hour, Expenses 45p per mile.

A self starter, you must be a good communicator with previous experience of managing a team and using current computer packages, particularly email and word-processing.

Your duties will include:

• Managing the Operation of the Foodbank within the guidelines of the franchise model

• Liaising and building rapport with volunteers, clients, trustees, referral agencies and donors to build a support team that will provide a timely and confidential service to our clients in the community

• Supervising and assisting in the work in the warehouse and administration office

• Collecting food donations and supplies locally and delivering food parcels to clients

You will be responsible to one of our Trustees for day to day operations. Previous experience in the voluntary / charitable sector would be an advantage. You must be a driver with a clean driving licence and a car owner.

Full-time, Permanent | £12.50 - £15.00 per hour

We are looking for reliable, competent and responsible Support Workers / Personal Care Assistants who have lots of energy and a definite can-do approach to join our growing team in a welcoming and well-resourced domestic setting. Be able to provide a person-centred quality living and lifestyle experience for a charming young male adult with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy living near Carnforth.

What’s required?

• Appropriate qualifications (NVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) and experience of working in a similar environment and / or with challenging behaviour is desirable.

• The shifts have been re-developed to consider a better ‘work life balance’ and consist of a 24.5 hour shift starting at 10am through to 10.30am the next day including a sleepover - you get to decide how many of these shifts you would like, either 1 or 2 of these a week– you choose! Every other weekend is required whilst working these shifts.

• Highly motivated employees with a professional approach to work and a commitment to high standards and meticulous record keeping.

• Individuals with good IT skills and experience in using applications like Launchpad, iMovie, GarageBand, Facebook, Messenger, Zoom, Teams etc. would be an advantage.

• Creative individuals and / or individuals with complimentary interests and skills in the areas of Filmmaking, Photography, Arts and Crafts, Music, Woodwork, Cooking, Gardening and Sport would also be an advantage.

• We are rural, so driver with own car essential / clean licence desirable. Client has his own vehicle.
