Ideally (but not essential) you will have previous experience of:
• Operating agricultural and plant machinery
• Landscaping/general gardening, forestry, or tree work
• Basic plumbing, joinery and “fix-it” skills
• A basic knowledge of tools, machinery, and mechanics.
• A “can do” approach to most areas of maintenance and development projects.
• A passion for fixing things and solving problems.
• A straightforward, no-nonsense approach to work.
A current valid UK Driving licence is essential.

We are looking for reliable, competent and responsible team members who have lots of energy and a definite can-do approach to join our growing team in a welcoming and well-resourced domestic setting. We support a charming young man with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy living near Burton in Kendal.
The location is rural so own car is essential as is full clean UK licence (client has own vehicle). To accommodate the young mans disabilities we employ staff at a rate manageable to the client so our advertising is ongoing. It is essential that candidates are Covid vaccinated.
Personal Care Assistants
Full-time, Permanent | £12.50 - £15.00 per hour
What’s required?
• Appropriate qualifications (NVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care) and experience of working in a similar environment and / or with challenging behaviour is desirable.
• The shifts have been re-developed to consider a better ‘work life balance’ and consist of a 24.5 hour shift starting at 10am through to 10.30am the next day including a sleepover - you get to decide how many of these shifts you would like, either 1 or 2 of these a week - you choose! Every other weekend is required whilst working these shifts.
• Highly motivated employees with a professional approach to work and a commitment to high standards and meticulous record keeping.
• Individuals with good IT skills and experience in using applications like Launchpad, iMovie, GarageBand, Facebook, Messenger, Zoom, Teams etc. would be an advantage.
• Creative individuals and / or individuals with complimentary interests and skills in the areas of Filmmaking, Photography, Arts and Crafts, Music, Woodwork, Cooking, Gardening and Sport would also be an advantage.

Office Administrator
Full time 9am-15.00 Monday to Friday. Salary: £15.00 per hour (dependent

I am looking for an Office Administrator who has a friendly, flexible, highly approachable, and professional attitude as well as a diverse range of administrative skills. You will be able to work to deadlines and be a strong team player with great communication skills.
No two days here are the same and you will need the ability to think outside of the box and demonstrate good forward thinking. Due to the nature of the work, you must possess meticulous recording and organisational skills and have strong MS Office skills with experience of working in a highly confidential environment. It is essential you have the relevant typing certificates (or equivalent) and have proven previous experience of supporting at a Personal Assistant level.
You will be providing a range of secretarial, administrative, financial and HR support to the line manager and be involved in the recruitment and onboarding process by organising interviews, coordinating background checks alongside maintain candidate records.
Requirements
• Computer literate and have a good working knowledge of outlook, word and excel and to have significant office administration experience (Essential)

Care - Training Coordinator
£15.00 - £18.00
per hr DOE. Permanent Full Time
The role of the Training Coordinator will be to work with new and existing employees to ensure they are fully inducted, trained and developed throughout their employment life-cycle. They will be responsible for staff training and will work to support the team to ensure training needs are met. They will also be required to monitor working practices, in line with CQC, policies and protocols and work alongside staff in the delivery of care and rehabilitation to the client.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, motivated and passionate about Care, have good communication and written skills, be IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Must also be creative, flexible and have an enthusiastic approach, experienced in delivering different training methods, such as, e-learning and face to face, ensuring that effective induction, supervision and assessment of staff is carried out and that training needs are identified and met.
They will need to take an active part in care and rehabilitation responsibilities as required, ensure the training plan is kept up to date and current for all staff and support the development of care practices as appropriate, able to carry out risk assessments, implement action to meet and maintain Care Standards, ensure clients rights are protected, record relevant activities in care logs and care plans and administer medication.
Requirements:
• Training Qualification (eg. PTLLS) or relevant training experience and NVQ 5 in Health & Social Care
Part Time Housekeeping Assistant
Tuesdays and Fridays – 9.30 am to 14.30pm. 10 hrs per week, £12.50 per hour
We are looking for a reliable part time housekeeping assistant, who has lots of energy, definite can-do approach and takes a pride in cleaning to a high standard alongside adding those special finishing touches that ensures a homely rather than clinical environment experience for the resident.
Involves undertaking general cleaning and laundry duties, managing recycling appropriately and ensuring that day-to-day tasks and routines are carried out to contribute to the smooth running of the service to the resident. Day to day responsibilities include cleaning of designated areas and attending to spillages, following H&S and COSHH regulations, maintaining accurate records, proactive interaction with the resident and use of equipment and handling chemicals. Will also be required to carry out any other reasonable management requests.
Experience of working in a similar environment and experience of Behaviours with challenge is desirable but not essential. (Training is provided)
