Due to staff retirement, we are currently looking to enhance our Customer Service team with friendly people who would enjoy “making a difference” and have a willingness to provide a friendly face and a 5-star experience to every one of our guests.
We are currently looking for a Reception Team Leader, with previous experience in Microsoft Office programs, cash handling and reconciliation, customer service, answering telephones, taking bookings, taking, and passing on of messages, assisting guests on arrival, general sales assistant duties.
Salary of £14.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Hours would be 42 hours p/week during the season (March-November) and 37.5 hours p/week during the closed season. 28 days annual leave.
We are also looking to recruit Receptionists / Shop Assistants, either Full or Part-time, to enhance our Reception Team. Previous experience is not essential, however knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office programs, cash handling, customer service skills and a positive can-do attitude would be desirable. We are seeking proactive individuals, who are self-motivated and enjoy interacting with people.
Salary: £12.50 per hour over 40/44 hours each week with two days off for relaxation or adventure. 28 days annual leave, pro-rata.
Please note a full UK valid driving license is required as these positions include driving our golf buggies when checking guests into glamping and cottages.

Resort Assistant Ambleside
We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time General Assistant to help our small team.
Your duties are to help in the smooth running of the resort working with our existing team. You will be responsible for ensuring apartments are well maintained, ensure the public areas of the resort are maintained throughout the day. Assist the maintenance supervisor with any renovations, painting etc. Help with any housekeeping duties needed and to ensure the swimming pool is kept clean and tidy and regular water testing of the pool is carried out. Undertake basic plant room checks.

Rehabilitation/Personal Care Assistants

We are seeking motivated energetic individuals that are happy to work flexibly supporting a charming young man with an acquired brain injury, epilepsy and complex and severe needs in his rehabilitation and daily living in a domestic environment based in Burton in Kendal. The young man requires 24/7 care support 7 days a week 365 days a year so the post holder will be expected to work on a rota basis. We aim to offer flexibility so you can gain a good work life balance and we currently offer 24/7 shifts from 10.00 am till 10.30am the next day. You can choose to take one or two of those per week the choice is yours and we pay the same rate for sleepover and day rate. We do expect you to work either a Saturday or Sunday every other weekend.
You will be part of a friendly, supportive professional team who will support you in developing your skills and gain access to a range of learning and development opportunities. All staff undertake an induction programme and are supported developmentally through in-house training and regular CPD sessions and an annual appraisal process.
Your role will be to provide a comfortable, rich, and fulfilling home and lifestyle whilst simultaneously supporting the young man in his rehabilitation and empowering him to maximize his potential and skills set. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that all candidates can drive and hold a clean driving licence. We have a heated swimming pool, kitchen garden, Art Studio, and Workshop on site.
Part Time Housekeeping Assistant
£13.00 per hour / Tuesdays and Fridays 9.30am to 14.30pm
We are looking for a reliable individual who has lots of energy and takes a pride in providing a high standard of cleanliness ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control.
The role includes undertaking cleaning designated areas and any spillages, laundry, and ironing duties alongside managing recycling appropriately. You will understand PPE and colour coding systems and you will be adept at ensuring that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in safe condition.
