Behind The Wheel With THE KING (Arthur Prayther)
2015 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR First lets make it clear we are glad to be profiling Ford products again. If you recall it was the agent for Ford Motor Company that started us in this field in January of 1987. This time around we went for a stroll in the new 2015 Lincoln Navigator and can’t wait to tell you about it. Bringing back special memories for me due to the fact we test drove this vehicle before it went on sale in Texas. As far as Full-Size Luxury goes, the Navigator is very hard to beat. Starting with a fresh new grille up front and a smooth set of line all the way around. The signatures features as power running boards and bright puddle lights and one of the most well lighted interiors of all-times. But we want to talk more about the engines for the baby this time around. The standard is the
2.7 Liter 282 horse powered six cylinder with 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 on the highway for a combined average of 20 miles per gallon. A six-speed automatic transmission for the new Navigator with 22-inch performance tires wrapped around an alloy wheel makes smooth and sturdy contract with the road. When it comes to up to date the Ford 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine that produces 365 horses at 5000 RPM and 420 pounds per foot of torque at 2500 RPM clearly best in class. First it was tested in degrees up to 230 and as low as 20 degrees below zero over and over again. This test was pryor to running it at full throttle for 150,000 miles. As if that wasn’t enough the same engine was then placed in a regular F-150 truck right off the assembly line, then driven at top speeds all the
way to Portland Oregon. Test after test the new engine even pulled logs, before another trip South to be placed on the track and towing 11,300 pounds at the top speed for 24-hours. Then after all that the new EcoBoost engine was subjected to the 10,062 miles Baja 1000 race and came in first. According to Ford the roughest and toughest Cowboy couldn’t possible put a truck engine through that much torture during a lifetime. Back to the interior of the new Lincoln Navigator you would have to be pleased with a set of Dune leather bucket seats, power
adjustable pedals with memory, plus power fold heated signal memory mirrors. Sounds comes from THX II certified Audio system with MyLincoln touch, Sirius satellite radio N/A AK/HI Warranties for the new
Navigator are as follows 4year/50,000 miles New Vehicle Warranty, 6-year/70,000 miles power train warranty and 2Year/24,000 Complete Maintenance. The New Navigator we tested came in at just under 73 Grand!

LEXUS OFFERS NEW NX 200T F SPORT By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View Dallas, Texas-Rolling up to big D in the Atomic Silver Lexus NX 200t F Sport we turned a few heads along the way. As the years have gone by Lexus has continued to add to what is already an All-Star lineup of luxury automobiles. Well the new NX 200t F Sports is making a name for itself in the crowded small SUV segment. Powered by a 2.0 Liter turbo 16Valve DOHC Dual VVT-I 235 horsepower with 258 pounds per foot of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and cranks out 28 miles per gallon on the highway and 22 in the city for an average of 25 miles per gallon. Not bad at all when you have 235 horses to get you where you want to go in a hurry. The new Lexus 200t F Sports has 8-airbags making it one of the safest vehicles in its class. Anti-locking brakes stops the new Lexus as smooth and swift as need be. There is certainly a vehicle theft deterrent system along with location-specific tire pressure monitoring system as well. Sounds come from an 8-speaker Lexus display audio system with HD radio with I-Tunes tagging and real time traffic and weather. That came in handy on our way back as we ran into some heavy
rain just outside Conroe. But the smooth riding Lexus brought us back safely and the wiper blades on high kept up with the record pace falling rain. We slowed down and came safely rolling on in when many had to actually stop for one reason or the other. Inside the new Lexus NX 200t we were greeted by a 10-way driver seat including 2-way lumbar while the front passenger gets a 8-way power seat. A manual tilt-telescopic steering column allowed you to get the perfect setting and made the trip more comfortable. A 4.2 fullcolor multi-information display with driving information, audio and outside temperature display. Man once the rain started falling all of this came into play. The F sport package includes sport-tuned suspension and F sport Nuluxe seats, metallic sport trim perforated leather trimmed steering wheel with paddle shifters. Cornering front and fog and driving lamps with premium LED. Daytime running lights and active sound control with F Sport door scuff plates to round out. GMC CANYON 4WD SLT EXTENDED CAB GETS GOOD ECONOMICAL NUMBERS By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View As we wind down the 2015 model year and complete the 28th year of auto evaluation, we got a good feeling from the new GMC Canyon pickup. To start with the Extended Cab version was very comfortable and economical as well. The standard 2.5 liter 200 horse powered Inline 4 cylinder engine got excellent numbers with 21 miles per gallon in the City and 25 on the Highway. Let us not forget we are talking about a vehicle that can trailer 7,000 pounds as well as a payload of 1550 with the 4WD model has a curb weight of 4420 pounds. Optional is a solid 3.6 liter V-6 DOHC VVT with direct injection 305 horsepower engine. Let me say the new intermediate trucks are anything but small as they are classified these days. With a 5 feet 2 inch cargo box or a 6 feet 2 inch box on the SLT you know the sky is the limit as to what you can haul if need be. With interior room of 41.4 cubic inches and 38.3 in the rear of head room plus 45 and 35.8 legroom again we say the vehicle is anything but small. This mid-size truck also comes with available forward collision alert and lane departure warning, plus a standard rear-vision camera. There is an All Terrain Package available on the SLE
model. The tailgate has two tier loading and the standard locking with thirteen standard tie down location throughout the bed for use with available movable cargo tie-down rings. Inside the new Canyon is six air bags including head curtain side

Large rearview mirrors and only 17 per cent from and standard rear vision camera Mexico the canyon is basically system enhancing visibility and home grown. Both the engine increasing safety. With 66 per and transmission are U S built cent of the parts sources from with the final assembly point in the United States and Canada Wentzville Missouri.

JEEP CHEROKEE LATITUDE 4 X 4 PUSHING ITS WAY INTO SMALL SUV MARKET By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View Killeen, Texas-Over the 4th of July weekend we had the services of the new Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4X4 and found it to be interesting to say the least. First of all it had plenty of room up front and in the rear along with plenty of cargo space. Keep in mind we are talking about a vehicle that tips the scales at just over 32 grand. We feel the 2.4 Liter In-line 4 cylinder provided us with enough power to get up and boogie when we wanted it to and yet cranked out 28 miles per gallon on the highway and 21 in the city. When you throw in the fact the engine is mated to a new 9-speed automatic transmission you are getting the most out of the economic capabilities of the product. Yes both the engine and transmission are built right here in the United States. About 71 per cent of the Cherokee parts are from the United States and Canada with only 16 percent from Mexico and the final assembly point is Toledo, Ohio. Guest you could say this baby is truly as home grown as it gets these days. Other facts about the new Latitude 4X4 is the vehicle rolls on 18 inch X 7.0 inch Gloss Black 5-spoke Aluminum wheels with P225/60R 18-BSW Touring Tires. This gives it a sport like look and feel. When it comes to safety the new Latitude scored a overall 4-star rating by the NHTSA both had 5-star rating for both front and rear seat occupants in side crashes.
When it comes to warranties the news Jeep is covered by a 5year/100,000 mile Power train Limited Warranty and a 3year/36,000 mile Basic Limited Warranty and a 5-year or 100,000 miles Roadside Assistance with certain restrictions applying. Other safety features includes a backup camera and Parkview. Advanced Multistage airbags complete with knee-bolster airbags the new Jeep is very high on safety. Some of its features are more commonly found on much more expensive models than the Latitude. In closing please allow me to add the Gloss Black Roof rails and exterior badges really gives the new Jeep an aggressive look.

FORD EXPEDITION EL KING-RANCH 4X4 ROLLING RIGHT ALONG By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View Spring, Texas-so many time you hear people say the full-size American Built SUV is going away. But the 2015 Ford Expedition is living proof the vehicle isn’t going anywhere soon. The full-size Luxury edition King-Ranch El is clearly the cowboy Truck of Texas and is poise to deal with any and all new comers in the market place. My mind goes back to my first testing of the King-Ranch version it was December of 2000 when my family went to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the graduation of our son (Arthur P Junior. The Students at LSU found the truck to be simply marvelous and Junior’s roommate Tim Jackson rode with us with a great big smile on his face. Fast forward to this year we are happy to be back behind the wheel of Ford products. Right away we are in the new Expedition and man we are talking luxury is the best kind of way. Over the years Ford has worked hard at getting better fuel economy from this and other large vehicle. It clear the new 3.5 Liter V6 Ecoboost engine with14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 miles per gallon on the highway. Let us not forget we are talking about a massive 8-passenger vehicle
here. Power rolls to the pavement on massive Performance tires wrapped around a set of 22 inch polished aluminum wheels. A Continuous Control suspension makes the vehicle one of the best ride in class. If you recall with was Ford that went with independent rear suspension for a full-size vehicle first. Our test vehicle came in a Bronze Fire Metallic exterior paint job with Ebony Mesa Leather Bucket Seats interior. The driver has 10-way power memory seat with lumbar while the third row seats power fold. The King-Ranch badge leather seating really sets this vehicle off to the races. Reggie Moore, my barber and I drove up to Old Town Spring to grab some Barbeque and all the was there we listen to some Tyrone Davis on the Super Sound system in the King-Ranch. Sirius satellite radio with all the trimmings with this HD AM/FM Sony Single CD setup. Outside the new Expedition takes on some new styling up front with a chrome grille with 3-Bar chrome and running boards along with power lift gate in the rear. Let me say in closing the new Expedition also has large folding rearview side mirrors with turn signal indicator and lane warning light as well. Our test vehicle listed at just under 67 Grand!

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK GIBBS TO LEAD BRAVES AGAINST GEORGIA TECH By King Arthur Prayther A King-Size View Birmingham, Alabama- Former Studewood Cobra and Booker T. Washington signal caller John Gibbs Jr. will lead the Alcorn State Braves into a battle with Georgia Tech. The season opener is slated for the Georgia Dome on Thursday September the 3rd on ESPN3. Gibbs passed for 2482 Yards and 21 touchdowns a year ago to lead the Braves to the SWAC
Championship with a 38-24 win over Southern in NRG Stadium in Houston. The home town hero also rushed for 1,006 yards and 12 touchdowns last year and has been named the Pre-Season Player of the Year in the SWAC. The Braves are picked to win the East Division of while Grambling State is picked to win the West, but many feel Southern will have something to say about that again in 2015. As second year coach Broderick Fobbs is well on his way of
bringing the Tigers back to their Glory Years following a 7-5 season in 2014. Gibbs will lead the Braves into BBVA stadium to face the TSU Tigers on Saturday November 14th and that should be very interesting! WHAT IS TRUTH? THE LAW WAS GIVEN BY MOSES Many in the religious world today believe that if they just keep the The Ten Commandments, given by Moses from God, they will be right with God (righteous). This is a dangerous belief, because according to scripture nothing can be farther from The Truth. We believe by scripture, there is a distinct difference in the two laws, even to whom they were given. As we study, we believe that through the PREPONDERANCE OF SCRIPTURE, and definitions, this will be proven. This allows SCRIPTURE TO INTERPRET SCRIPTURES, thereby exposing error as we search for what is TRUTH. To whom did Moses give The Old Law, The Old Testament, The Law of Moses (which include the Ten Commandments), along with the traditions and customs thereof? This should be the question. We believe you will find by scripture, it was given to the Children of Israel, not to the Church that Christ is building (Matt.16:13-18; Acts2:4647), and is the head of (Eph.5:23-33; Col.1:12-20; 2:123), thereby not to Christians. Please get your bible and follow this study! THE LESSO : THE LAW WAS GIVE BY MOSES John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Please Read all Referenced Scriptures and Definitions: Exod 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long
upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 13 Thou shalt not kill. 14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 15 Thou shalt not steal. 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. 18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. 21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. 22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.KJV)
Deut 4:44 And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel: 45 These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt,(KJV) Deut 5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. 2 TheLORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.(KJV) There are many in the religious world today proclaiming to be “Christ-ians”, the name itself indicates ownership. Just because we proclaim it, doesn’t make it so, please read; Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: There are many proclaiming to believe on Christ, but they are doing things their own way. Dear reader, we must remember, please read; James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also
believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? If it just takes BELIEF to make it in, then we MUST conclude devils will be in HEAVEN. Because, according to scripture, not only do they believe, they TREMBLE. Make no mistake, DEVILS will NOT be there and NEITHER will WE, if we don’t SUFFER to DO the will of the FATHER which is in HEAVEN. According to Matt.17:1-8, God’s will is done through Christ and his apostles (Matt.28:18-20; John17:17-21), thereby continuing steadfast in the apostle’s doctrine (Acts2:4142).
There are things that are put in place for worship, and observances that are followed, that cannot be found in the apostles’ doctrine. Let’s look briefly at some examples: Easter which means Passover and includes unleavened bread, and the Sabbath. These things were given by God through Moses, only to the children of Israel and those under the Old Law. There were many other things to be observed such as Circumcision, Stonings, Animal Sacrifices, Blood Sprinklings, Burnt and Blood Offerings etc. These things including ALL the rest had to be followed circumspectly (sure) Exodus 23:13, see also verses 1-19; Deut.5:1-33etc. When one proclaims to be a Christian and observes Easter, which means Passover and has not observed ALL things given under the Old Law, it then becomes a STRANGE DOCTRINE. It is strange because neither Testament; Old or New has been circumspectly (exactly) observed, but has been mingled. This makes the Doctrine neither of Moses nor of Christ through his apostles (please read; Heb.13:9; Gal.5:1-9). Here is another great example, of a strange mingled Doctrine, “Christian Sabbath” one of the most conflicting and confusing. We must remember God is not the author of confusion (1Cor.14:33). The Sabbath was to be observed by the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, on the seventh day “Saturday“ Exodus 20:8-11 NOT the first day of the week “Sunday” “Acts 20:6 And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days. 7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.” There were NO Apostle’s Doctrine (Acts2:41-42) when the instructions were given for The Sabbath to the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. They were followers of GOD through Moses, not Christ. Likewise there are NO instructions given to The Church of and by Christ, for The Sabbath or any of the mention
observances, including EASTER and or UNLEAVENED BREAD. Christians MUST be followers of GOD through CHRIST and his APOSTLES as they were guided by the Holy Spirit. It is certain these are observances that have been put in place by man because, they cannot be found in the apostles’ word which is found in New Testament Scripture. We cannot have it our way, if we belong to Christ “Christ-ians” we must do it His way because, we are NOT our own, we have been bought with a price (1Cor.6:19-20). Christians must deny themselves, take up the cross daily, and follow him, (Matt.16:2326; Mark8:33-37; Luke 9:2226). The blueprint of The One Body, The One Church (Eph.4:4; Col.1:18) that Christ is building(Matt.16:18; Acts2:47), is found in The Apostles’ Doctrine, which is in New Testament Scriptures; and it must be also followed circumspectly (Eph.5:14-17). Now let us read in The Apostles’ Doctrine as it defines those that belong to CHRIST, NOT Moses. He that hath an ear let him hear, and then strive to do.
To whom did Jesus Christ give The New Law, The New Testament, The Law of Christ (seeGal.6:2)? This should also be the question. This law includes the commandments of Christ given to His Apostles by him and through the Holy Ghost, Matt.28:19-20; John 16:1-16; 17:1-16; Acts1:1-4). It is also with the traditions and customs thereof. We believe you will find by scripture, it is to be taught to all nations (see Matt.28:16-20) and is to be observed by The Church, “Christians”: those that choose to believe on Christ through the Apostle’s word (John17:17-22; Acts 2:41-42), instructions and commandments (1Cor.11:1-3; Eph.3:1-9; 2Pet.3:1-3; 1John 4:5-6; Jude 1:17-18); “2Cor. 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (KJV) 2 Cor 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. 4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our suf-
ficiency is of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (KJV) Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (see Gal.5:3-5 the whole Law, also James 2:10-12)(KJV) Heb 3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; 6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,(KJV) BUT GRACE A D TRUTH CAME BY JESUS CHRIST

Amen.(KJV) Let’s read as Jesus was teaching the Jews to follow him and OT Moses. John 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?(KJV) John 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.(read also John10:34, 15:25) John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.(KJV) John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.(KJV)
A King-Size View Let’s read; John 17:17-21 as Jesus was praying to his Father for his disciples, the apostles. Not only was he praying for his apostles, but was praying for ALL that will believe on him through the apostles’ word. Thereby having NO divisions as it is today; so that we ALL will be ONE as he and his Father, and ALL ONE IN THEM; NOT “AGREEING TO DISAGREE”. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.(KJV) Believe on me through their word… Referenced Scriptures: Acts 1:1The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. (KJV) Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.(KJV) Acts 13:34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. 35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: 37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no (1)corruption. 38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;(KJV)
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Phil 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:(KJV) (read also Col.2:1217)
Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.(KJV) Rom 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. Eph 2:13 But now in Christ
Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Heb 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 18 For there is (1)verily a (2)disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:(KJV) Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he (1)hath made the first old. Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
July 2015 CONTINUED: MOSES 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.(KJV) Heb 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;(KJV) James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart

The Old Testament is good for our learning, and it speaks of Jesus coming in the flesh, but It cannot JUSTIFY us (Acts 13:39); It cannot make ANYTHING PERFECT (Heb.7 verses 11,12, 15-19; chapter 9:9-28); It cannot take away SINS (Heb.10:3-12); It has been DISANNULLED, PUT AWAY, CANCELLED (Heb.7:15-18; Heb.8:6-8 &13); so It cannot make us RIGHTEOUS (Gal.2:21). We MUST believe on Jesus Christ to be (righteous) right with God, and our belief MUST follow the instructions of Jesus Christ through his apostles, (see John17:16-23) not Moses, John the Baptist or any other man. In other words “if you will”, there is a new Sheriff in town (see Matt.17:1-8, 28:16-20), that was in the beginning, the only begotten of The Father, full of grace
and truth (see John1:1-14); with a NEW SET OF RULES. He is the mediator “a go between” OT of the OLD TESTAMENT because Moses was, but of the NEW TESTAMENT (see Hebrews 9:15), which is in his blood (see Matt.26:28, 1Cor.11:25). He is The head of The Body, The Church (see Eph.1:20- 23, Col.1:17-20). According to CHRIST there is a NEW SET OF MINISTERS, and they are his apostles, MINISTERS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT (see 1Cor.11:1-3; 2Cor.3:5-7; Eph.3:1-9; Phil.4:89; 2Pet.1:14-21; 1John 4:5-6), with a NEW SET OF COMMANDMENTS (see Matt.28:18-20; Acts1:1-4; 2:4142; 2Thes.3:4; 2:15; 2Pet.3:12; Jude 1:17) that we The Church, must hear and DO to be right (righteous) with God (see Matt.17:1-8). Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Then He ended his SUFFERING LIFESTYLE most cruelly on the cross, for us. He is the only one to shed his blood for the redemption of our sins, not Moses nor A Y OTHER. True Christians MUST believe on Christ ONLY in the manner that He says (John17:20-21). This will make us all ONE, in name, in practices, in traditions, in observances and in FAITH, by continuing steadfastly in HIS apostles’ Doctrine (Acts2:41-42). “Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Let’s be honest, is there any other, at any time in history, with such power, that caused what the scriptures below describe? Truly he is The Son of God, The only begotten “only born” of The Father! Please read carefully: Matt 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. We believe this is best done by definitions and the PREPONDERANCE OF SCRIPTURES; which is having superior weight, force, importance, or influence of SCRIPTURE. Again we believe this allows SCRIPTURE to INTERPRET SCRIPTURE, thereby allowing a better understanding on that topic. Again, thank you so much for your interest in the WORD of TRUTH; GRACE and SALVATION; John 17:1721; Acts 20:29-32; James1:2125. After all it is our MAP to HEAVEN and away from HELL, and the continuance in it, is the O LY thing that allows the man of God to be perfect, 2Tim.3:12-17! STUDENT OF THE WEEK ANDRE PIERSON - ABC-WEST By Dr. Victor Keys A King-Size View At 6 foot 7, Academic and Behavior Center West graduate Andre Pierson is imposing in his graduation cap and gown. Upon greeting Andre, his temperate handshake is not overbearing. No one would suspect that a year ago he had a self-destructive temper that could set a classroom whirling. A team that includes a behavior specialist, a counselor, a teacher and his principal devised an
individualized learning plan to help Andre deal with his anxiety and anger at the alternative school run by Harris County Department of Education. His graduation from ABC West and his home high school in Fort Bend Independent School District signals a new chapter in his life. “It’s not the school that changed me,” said Pierson. “It was my choice. But they helped me look back at the bad things I did. I realize now where I to stop and how to keep my anger under
control and contained. This before school was out, Andre gained his driver’s license, a feat that was both scary but liberating, he said. Through the year he worked through the academic requirements to graduate but also gained workforce experience to master social skills through organizations like Goodwill and Pizza Hut. “I would like to work in a movie theater,” he said. Andre subtly chuckles at the prospect of getting to see free movies and eat popcorn. “I feel free,” said Andre, citing his ability to control his emotions and deal with stress. “I just want a job and start over now as a man instead of a teen. When asked about how the president was doing, Andre stated that “he is doing a great job and I am really proud that he is our president”.
